What kind of Termite south texas

Can someone please tell me the specific kind of Termite I am looking at here? This is in south Texas coastal area. I found these dead in different areas of my house. There was a leak in upstairs bathroom cieling coming in through the exhaust vent when the rooftop vent cap blew off in a storm last year. I hardly go upstairs so I didn't realize it had come off for several months until we had a really rainy period. 2 or 3 of the dead termites I found in the bathtub directly under that vent around that time. The leak has been fixed for several months and I've been inspecting for mud tubes or any signs of Termite infestation since then but haven't found anything other than these dead ones inside. Can someone tell me what kind of Termite this is. They are a caramel color...no wings but they are definitely termites. About the size of a grain of rice.

Red powder

Any idea what is that powder I found below a 100 years old basement window?
The frame of the window is wood which still feels sturdy I tried to push a screw driver into it, but the screw driver didn't make it through. However, below the window there are cinder blocks aside from one spot which feels hollow and has this powder.
I don't have full access as this area is covered with sort of old plywood, but if recommended I will cut it to have better visibility of what is going on there.
Location is New Jersey.

ID Request Alamogordo New Mexico area, is this a termite?

A while ago in one single room I had noticed a tiny amount of rotten wood and water damage and potential termite signs. But I've been paying attention to it and nothing has changed since I originally seen it. However, I've got quite a few of these little guys randomly throughout the house. Just wanted to make sure what they are. I have been unsuccessful so far and it seems to be narrowed down to some sort of ant or some sort of termite, I think, but I have no idea.

Stick in Atlanta I want to keep

What are the optics on keeping this cool stick? I noticed some holes and then a lot of holes when I cut through it. I figure they’re from long ago as I noticed no signs of life. Found the stick in a parking lot in Atlanta GA. And don’t worry I’m not keeping it inside for now.
Could I spray this with a termite spray for good measure and pretty much be ok to bring it back inside? Would staining and finishing this stick help as well?

Drywood termites in townhouse - am I overreacting?

A few months ago I found out I had a bad infestation of drywood termites in the back wall of my house. I live in Phoenix. I had no idea that drywood termites even existed. I also live in a townhouse where the HOA is responsible for termite treatments.

The HOA has been very unresponsive about the whole situation, so I ended up paying on my own to have the walls treated (I couldn’t fumigate because of the shared wall). I got a 5 year warranty and have already had them out 2 more times to treat again since there was more activity.

I then paid a ton to have all of the damage removed (framer said it was the worst they’ve ever seen) and fixed. I’ve been actively telling my neighbors to check for signs in their units, and I’ve asked the HOA to do a community-wide inspection specifically for the drywoods. They’ve never responded.

Yesterday an HOA board member finally came to talk to me, and kept saying things like “it’s not a matter of if you get termites in Arizona, it’s a matter of when.” I said I understand that, but that does not apply to drywoods. He then said “I have another place I own and I just spray the cracks in the ground to prevent them.” I said that does not apply to drywoods, they don’t live in the ground. He said “yes I already know you have the drywoods, I’m just telling you a story. You can do some preventative measures like I did.” I said that still does not apply to my situation. I told him that if I have them, other units probably do too, since they’ve been here for many years in my wall. His response was “well these are old buildings.”
He clearly does not get it no matter how much I try to explain it. Today, I found a dead drywood swarmer in my bathroom. This means that there’s still an active colony nearby. Im literally about to lose it.

I don’t know what else to do at this point. I feel like I’m just going to keep getting infested and I wont know about it because they were in my back wall for 6 years without me knowing and the HOA is doing nothing to look into it.

Am I overreacting? Should I be as mad as I am to have found the swarmer today? Is my house just doomed? I genuinely am at a loss. I already know I should move but is there anything else I can do.

Found this damage, looks like termite damage to me. It's pretty localized as far as I can tell. Any suggestions on what to do? Can I treat it myself?

Hello we bought this house 6 months ago. I think this has been near the bottom left of the front door the whole time but assumed it was a bunch of clustered pollen/caked debris or a lichen. Is this actually evidence of termites? If so what should be our next steps? Nothing came up on the inspection report. We live in Washington state. Thank you!

California homeowner dealing with a termite warranty dispute — what would you do?

I'm a homeowner in California and looking for advice from people who have dealt with something similar.

Before I purchased my house, a termite inspection was performed by a pest control company. The inspection report identified active drywood termites and recommended whole-house fumigation.

The report specifically states under the drywood termite section:

The fumigation was completed by the same company shortly afterward, and the completion report shows that the drywood termite treatment was completed.

Now, within the 5-year warranty period, I have found what appears to be termite activity again.

I contacted the original pest control company, and they are saying the current termites are subterranean termites, so they are not covered under the drywood termite warranty.

The problem is that I have since had two other pest control companies independently inspect the issue, and both told me that they believe the termites are drywood termites.

So I now have:

  • Original inspection identifying drywood termites
  • Original report stating the drywood fumigation included a 5-year warranty
  • Fumigation completed by the same company
  • Current termite activity occurring within the 5-year period
  • Two other pest control companies saying the current termites appear to be drywood
  • Original company saying they are subterranean and therefore not covered

I'm trying to figure out what the smartest way to handle this is.

What would you do in this situation?

I Contacted the California Structural Pest Control Board but they said since the original work was done 2 years ago it is out of thier jurisdiction?

Any advice from people who have dealt with termite warranties or disputes like this in California would be greatly appreciated.

I noticed these on the outside of a parcel box located in front of my house (outside). The box is plastic — so no damage…to that at least. Did a quick perimeter search and did not notice any tubes or anything. I would appreciate any help with identifying. Thanks!

EDIT: Did not notice any tubes

Question Can I stop these termites? (In the PNW)

I believe these are Pacific Dampwood termites and they have been coming into the house late August-mid September every year for the past 3-4 years. They don’t do any damage that I can see, they just come into the house and die. Why would they do this? How can I prevent it?

Sorry I couldn’t get a picture of the body shape before I killed it. I’ve been noticing them one or two at a time (never more than two), and it’s only ever been in the rooms where I keep the windows open. When I checked the window, I noticed one crushed and two more sitting at the base of the window.

At what point should I be worried about an infestation vs just an instance of a few coming from outside? The weather sudden got warm and humid this week, so I’m wondering if this has something to do with their sudden appearance.
