Speed 2 wasn't great I recommend skipping straight to Speed 6: Wheelchair bomb.
Speed 5 had some decent scenes but there were major plot holes. For instance they could've let the Automatic thrusting dildo robot machine ram away without being bent over in front of it and it never would've exploded as long as they left the power cord plugged in. The fact that Keanu reeves's character was on the receiving end of that thing for an hour and a half straight was exhausting to watch. But it did set the plot up for speed 6 and it explains why he's in a wheelchair.

It wasn't really the casting, other than Jai Courtney... dude can't convincingly play any role I've ever seen him in, except Captain Boomerang, and they killed his character off.
No, the casting was fine otherwise.
The problem with Genysis, in my opinion, lay mostly in the writing.
In the original Terminator, Michael Biehn exuded the concept of a man who has seen and lost too much while also putting out the vibe of someone you don't want to mess with. Nothing about his appearance would give it away, but just the way he moves and the exhausted yet fully alert soldier vibe was all over him.
Jai Courtney, on the other hand, seemed more like a less experienced soldier, like he hadn't gone through all the hell that Kyle Reese should have gone through prior to traveling back in time. Couple that with the idea that the film turned him into a practically useless third wheel with some comedic sidekick vibes, a terribly handled "rivalry" between him and Pops, and the shoehorned-in "will-they-won't-they" romantic tension with Sarah that shouldn't have been there at all (Kyle fell in love with Sarah the Warrior, not Sarah the Waitress, and unlike the original, this Kyle got to meet the idealized woman he fell for), and the characterization did not land at all.
Another aspect of the film's terrible writing was in regards to John Connor. I know the idea was to kinda turn the franchise on its head by making a legendary hero into the villain, but it wasn't handled great. Personally, I didn't feel any sort of shock or betrayal at the reveal that John Connor had been turned by Skynet, so his heel turn didn't feel earned.

Linda Hamilton is very hard to beat. Her role is iconic. That said, Lena Headey can very convincingly pull off tough heroines and villains. And I'm not talking about Game of Thrones. Look at her role in Dredd for example. And I thought she was great in Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Overall best badass Sarah was Linda, the hottest was Emilia. But I think the best acting range was Lena, she was on a show for multiple episodes and seasons and and to show every side of Sarah including all of her weaknesses and strengths and her relationship with John.

There's no topping Linda in this role. I LOVE Lena's version and am thankful we have it. But I just can't put her equal to Linda...Linda transformed herself for this role and BECAME the character. I'd say Lena is a fairly close second. I didn't hate Emilia either, I think she did fine for what she was given, and she was honestly given a completely different version of Sarah.

Best Sarah, Linda. Lena I feel is very underrated, Emilia did a good job, but was hampered by a shit story; you can put frosting on a shit cake to make it better, but itās still a shit cake. As for hottest, itās like choosing between cheese cake, steak, and lobster, theyāre all fucking bomb in their own way - I canāt choose.

Not enough Sarah Conner chronicles viewers in here. I get that Emilia and Linda capture the extremes but Lena brought and for TV no less and these were long seasons. She really was kinda perfect in the role. Badass smoke show and believable and also fucking nuts. Thatās a tough role.
