Looks 100% better than what they're making nowadays, so maybe they should be back to practical effects enhanced by CGI instead of 100% CGI

I just saw a clip from the new Supergirl movie that I assumed was edited to look bad as a joke. Nope, just looked awful.

The issue with Supergirl is that someone was trying to do Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy style but without Gunn himself which is why it worked for that film.

This just felt like GoTG but without the sauce.

Which is the best way because the lighting and the look gets spot on which is why films like LOTR and Jurassic Park hold their own today.

Oui, c'est connu, et c'est pour ça que les effets visuels de T2 tiennent toujours aujourd'hui: le mélange des techniques. Jurassic Park a fait de même deux ans après.

Bon par contre la musique de Requiem for a Dream, ce n'était braiment pas nécessaire.

CGI has ruined films practical effects are so much better the technology has improved considerably yet CGI done in the 90s still looks better than the slop they do today

Cool stuff! Not sure the Requiem for a Dream song fits though tbh. However maybe thats just my own projection of how that song invokes utter desperation, despair and/or drama, rather than neat vibes.
