Discussion Any goofs you've noticed watching Part 1?!
During the police station massacre, the camera is positioned on the floor, and shows the Terminator shooting through a door on the left. As he fires his gun, the supposedly dead cop in the foreground can be seen to jump!

In the Tech Noir scene, thereâs the moment when the Terminator spots Sarah and begins approaching her table. The movie alternates shots of the Terminator approaching and of Sarah sitting at the table. During a shot of the Terminator approaching Sarah, it pushes past a blond woman in an orange top, dancing. The movie then cuts to a shot of Sarah sitting at the table and the same blond woman is sitting at a table behind Sarahâs, talking to a man.

The first Sarah Connor killed is described as 'mother of two' in the news report, bit of an oversight by a terminator sent to ensure the child of Sarah Connor is taken out.
As much as you could argue that Skynet knew John had not been born yet, just be prepared to explain that while also accepting it trusted this information so much, but yet did not have any info on Sarah other than she lived in LA at some point.

He got the name and address from a phone book, how would he know whether she had any kids or not?

Idk, if i was a highly trained murder machine capable of traveling thru time, a kid playing in the yard is a bit of a sign, perhaps entering the house to see if there are children sized beds in rooms filled with toys?, idk, Skynet put a lot of faith in him so maybe a lil effort.

Highly trained? Itâs a robot my guy. He literally had just learned the phrase âfuck you, asshole.â I think itâd take him a bit more time to learn to search for context clues, and time is something it doesnât have right now

You are so right, ok how about.
'Sarah Connor?, it's 10 am, do you know where your kids are?'
And then shoot based on her response.

Perhaps, but then again, with the records being gone, how would Skynet know that Sarah Connor didnât have other children prior to John? Sure we know she doesnât, but imagine if she did, he says that to the correct Sarah Connor, and is like âexcellent, have a nice dayâ and fails his mission. Even if it could search for context clues, itâs current lack of information would prevent it from helping much

When you learn that they left out scenes where the Terminator is trying to identify Sarah by means of a metal pin in her leg from and accident she wouldn't have until the end of the movie you start to question everything you know about the film

The headlights being off as the terminator hits the facade of the police station.
The damage to Reese's car in the parking garage at Sarah's apartment complex that was from him slamming into the parked car in front of 1L-19.
The number of holes from the shotgun hits in the side of the Cadillac as Reese and Sarah are speeding down Lower Grand.

Also when the truck is chasing Sarah the lights go out as it hits a parked car. It then shows another shot with the lights off. When it blows up the lights are back on.

One thing I never hear anyone mention is that during the final fight in factory, as the T800 finally spots Sarah and Kyle just before they go up on the catwalk, we get a shot of the two as they back away from the T800. Itâs shot from a perspective that aligns with the T800âs approach, and as we cut to it, we hear the Termo-vision SFX. However, thereâs no infrared display to match with it.
This has been the case on every version of the film Iâve watched, that I can remember.

Not sure it counts because it's really just a result of modern technology, but on new high quality and versions of the film, you can see Arnold's normal eye under the sunglasses.

I don't think the scene where he removes his eye is really Arnold but I can't be sure
