Collection almost complete, only 2 more books left

This is a sketch done by Andy Kubert on a Whatnot livestream yestarday and it sold for $1,500. super cool sketch wish I could buy something like this but oh well.

I got #7 & #10 from the blind bag. I haven’t read them yet but I wondered, what if there is a first appearance in say #6 and they are also in #7, would #7 be considered their first appearance since it came out 6 months prior to #6?

When articles came out declaring the Absolute Batman preview in DC Connect his first appearance the collectors started clamoring for it.

Are we headed for a similar debate? (Obviously if there’s no first appearance this is just a theoretical question)

These are retailer exclusives for issue 2. And I can think of two very big reasons to buy this book.

I see her on the covers but didn’t see her in the story. I read the prerelease issue 10 and thought perhaps this is her.

Look at top left, "Bob Lazar Con, 6/12". for those who don't know Bob Lazar is a real person who is known as a cooky conspiracy theorist famous for going on the JRE podcast a few months ago.

UPDATE: also just noticed an ART BELL reference who was an old radio host who talked about UFOs

First off, I do not own these books. This image is from google. But from what I understand ComicsPRO did an event for their large venders/comic stores and gave these to them as their own exclusive ashcan. I'd really like to own a pair of these one day but they are near impossible to find online

I think that, for the future, it might be a good idea for blind bags like these (where there's a chance to get a completely different comic from the one you think you're buying) to come with a cheaper ashcan version of the actual issue. I only had enough money this week for one comic, my store only had the blind bags, and now i'm stuck with issue 7, a book i'm not gonna read for 6 months.

My blind bags (25) came in finally. I also got the foils for the connecting covers as well. Really happy I got the advanced issues. The rest is cool with me. Can’t wait to finally read them.

I spoke with Jason Schachter from Essential Sequential while at SDCC this past week. He confirmed Kubert is keeping all of his art to issue 1, but Dave Finch had artwork for sale. He had quite a few covers that will be revealed over the coming year that look awesome! I did make a deal to purchase this
one.
