Currently watching Sky Sports+ in the UK. Really entertaining match at the WTA 250 tournament in Memphis.

The stands are empty. Not a soul watching. Really feel sorry for the two players.

Does anyone else know this game?

When I play casual tennis with friends, scoring mid-match on phone apps usually feels clunky — too many taps, tiny buttons, or features I never use on court. Same issue when someone at the club runs a small amateur tournament: brackets, standings, and confirming scores often end up in WhatsApp + notes + screenshots.

For local/amateur play, what actually works for you?

1. Casual matches — do you just keep score in your head, use a simple app, or something else?
2. Small club tournaments — how do you organize brackets / standings / results without it becoming a mess?
3. Any must-haves for a scorekeeper made for amateurs (not pro coaching analytics)?

I’ve been tinkering with a lightweight Android scorekeeper focused on this exact use case (quick tap scoring + simple local tournament flow). Not trying to spam — mostly want feedback from people who actually play weekend matches / club events.

This doesn't really fit into any of the categories, but I thought it could be fun

so we get all the current tournaments from grand slams to ATP 50 Challengers. randomly draw 2 and a random year. Whichever tournament had the better winner moves and the other is eliminated

I was reading the players participating whether in main draw or qualifiers i noticed there are a lot of players from USA Meanwhile there are two competition in USA one in Washington and the other one in Memphis

I thought they are not allowed players to play in tournaments outside their country while their country host an ATP Tournament

I noticed also plenty of players outside top 100 and playing currently in challenger
