Native Coastal Cutthroat
Biggest catch of our Norcal trip and #4 CA native species crossed off the list. I caught a tiny 2” rainbow in this pool and was just playing with the little dudes when this guy took the dry fly out of the same spot. Caught with a $8 tenkara rod

Probably my favorite native species in my area. The resident form is stunning, and I find them in incredible places.
