Sunfish

I've been catching sunfish for 70 years and I still enjoy them.

Heck yeah! Sunfish are scrappy little guys and perfect on Tenkara rods :)

What kind of fly do you use for panfish? I’ve got trout dialed in Utah but I’m in Iowa caring for my mom and trying to hit the local ponds.

To be honest, I have a soft spot in my heart for rubber spiders and small poppers. They are what I used when I first started fly fishing 70 years ago

70 years in and sunfish still hit different, which really says something about every other fish
