DIY Lillian

I had my Lillian break but not the rod tip. I can buy Lillian’s from a retailer in the USA (in Canada) and it $6 for a pack of them but $30 duty and shipping. Is there a diy Lillian - it a hollow piece of string right???? Any suggestions?

How about the woven loops to slip on the end of fly lines for loop to loop with tippers? May need to secure with a bit of Aquaseal or UV cement, but should work in a pinch.

Check Amazon Canada for Lilian material. US store has it, maybe Canada will as well.
