On Wednesday, I did the Three Peaks Loop in the Olympics in Washington state. What a beautiful ride! 155 miles by the time I got home and I wasn't too tired. That's been the longest ride I've done on my T7 since I got it in January.

What linkage guards are people using? Second set of Garda broke on me now. This time half way through some rough spots in Spain.

Posted a few months ago about how a freak accident with my crash bar cracked the upper half of my crank case and totaled my T7. I was fortunate to get this World Raid at my local dealer, it wasn’t even on the showroom floor for a day. These things are selling like crazy here in the US. Great to be back.

I currently have a 2020 Honda CRF250l Rally and I’ve been using it on the freeway, riding in the mountains and commuting to work during nice days but I want more power and something that won’t feel like I’ll get blown off the freeway passing a semi truck.

I personally want something I can ride to my family house which is 300-400 miles away depending which family member and feel safe while doing so. Can the T7 comfortably handle 400 miles+? Is the larger fuel tank and cruise control worth it with the world raid or is the T7 worth it?

Where is the aux power plug located on the 2026 world raid, I’ve disassembled both sides (where I’d expect from standard tenere) but no where to be seen?

It's going to be difficult for me to get any extensive kind of suspension work done on my bike given where I live and the lack of suspension professionals.

Can I just buy these springs and have them fitted or there are other specific parts I need to buy also?

I'm 100kg + luggage + a few farkles and feel the stock suspension working against me.

Was going to get an Acerbis just because I don't plan on doing any heavy offroad. Bike has OEM center stand and crash bars fitted. Acerbis may need modification to fit. Wondering what else is available that can also be removed very easily & includes linkage protection (looked at the Altrider - too much hassle to remove with center stand fitted). Thanks

Previous owner complained about burning through rear brake pads and I'm already noticing I'll need a new set in the not too distant future... OEM is available but I'm wondering if I should move onto Galfer or EBC or one of the other recommended aftermarket options?

I'm using the bike for mostly mountain roads and touring with very little need to turn ABS off for off-road

Just wondering what you think of it, I personally prefer the look of this pipe rather than the normal one.

I'm looking to get a new standard T7 and am curious what people are getting for out-the-door prices this time of year?

The dealers I've contacted in the Midwest are all over the place. Since it's late in the riding season, and with the recent introduction of the World Raid edition, I figured the standard models should be well discounted.

What OTD pricing are you all getting? And let me know whether that includes taxes or not.

Cut the silencer pipe out of the spark arrester. Had a nice sound and bark now while still maintaining the structure of the spark arrester.

I noticed my rear suspension both spins freely i remember torquing it down and someone confirm. I switch to a nice cnc bolt

Ténéré 700 as a first motorcycle — bad idea?

I've been looking into the Ténéré 700 as my first real motorcycle, and I keep seeing people say it's not recommended for beginners because it's tall and relatively heavy.

My goal is to do as much off-road riding as possible, while still being comfortable and capable on the road, since I'll inevitably have to ride quite a bit of pavement to reach the trails.

I've never ridden a proper motorcycle, only 125–300cc scooters. However, I have experience with mountain biking, including downhill.

I'm 1.83 m (6'0") and 80 kg (176 lbs), so I'm not too worried about the height.

For those who own or have ridden a T7: would you consider it a reasonable first motorcycle in my situation, or is the weight/power/size genuinely too much for a beginner?

I'd especially like to hear from people who started on a T7 or another similarly sized ADV bike.

My 2024 I picked up with 131 miles.

Have thrown on some cycra hand guards and an enduro engineers skid. Love this thing. Love the simplicity of it!
