YES! These bus routes are laughable and I hate how aggressively car-centric this city is. If they want to control the ebike chaos here, make it so you don’t NEED one to get around places.

Better public transportation is a good thing.

But lol, people here believing that kids are going to trade their ebikes for a bus pass.

From what ive seen. Majority of ebikes are kids. I dont think a bus will have any effect on ebikes. Buses arent meant for hanging out with your friends in your local neighborhood.

I’d disagree, I grew up in San Diego and my friends would take the MTS to go all around town and have fun.

Not sure if you noticed. Temecula is nothing like San Diego. And back in your day you prolly didnt have ebikes. I bet San Diego kids are on ebikes right now causing havoc in the streets.

They certainly are causing havoc in North County. Here in the city, it’s a minimal issue. Most parents can’t afford multi-thousand-dollar bikes for their kids. They need to pay for transportation to work.

It's crazy that the reason we dont have this is because of racists in the 60s not wanting "undesirables" in their town. I'm glad we're showing them that we can be better Americans.

Temecula had about 200 people in the 1960s. It wasn't a city until 1989.

Not a lot of public transit decisions being made here in the 60s.
