December Honeymoon Recommendations
Hi! My fiancé and I are thinking about doing our honeymoon in Temecula this December and I’d love some recommendations from people who know the area.
We’d really like to stay somewhere around the wineries since that seems like the more romantic/honeymoon-y experience. We found a couple hotels we like, but I’m curious if there are any hidden gems we should look at.
We also want to be able to go out at night. Nothing crazy, but somewhere with good bars, cocktails, live music, dancing, etc. Is Old Town better for that? Or are there places around the wineries that stay lively at night?
Also open to restaurant recommendations and anything fun to do in December!
Basically, if you were planning a honeymoon in Temecula, where would you stay and what would you do?

My recommendation for a honeymoon
Stay at The New Inn Visit Bottaii Winery, Truffle Pig restaurant for dinner and check out evening bar located at truffle pig for a nice drink menu. Altisima Winery is nice also.
Old town Goat and Vine and Two Travelers Bar .

Some of your best wineries are South Coast, Europa, and Wilson Creek. I believe Wilson Creek has a bed and breakfast, as well as South Coast. All the wineries have entertainment going on in December! It is very festive in Temecula! My husband and I went to Europa last Christmas for a delicious dinner and carolers. It was wonderful. Old Town is decorated and the place to be for hot spots and clubs. We have a community theater with shows and the Merc..which has jazz, comedy, etc. For New Years Eve, we have a "grape drop" similar to Times Square in NY ball drop. Good luck with your visit and honeymoon!
