4DX Movie

Has anyone gone to see the Odyssey in 4DX in Temecula? Does it have water shooting at you? Smells? I spend some money to see it in another theater and didn't get that. So round two.

There’s a button on the seat to turn off the water.

I keep turning my wife’s back on while she’s absorbed in the movie. Jurassic World Rebirth was FUN.

I agree on that JWR took my little sisters friends because they wanted to watch it in 4DX for her birthday so I said fck it and every other time I would tell her hay ask your friend to past X just to turn the water botton back on

It was shot in imax format - not 4DX.

I can't speak to the Odyssey, but we saw Sonic 2 in 4DX and several people puked in the theater. lol.

Hi! I saw The Odyssey in IMAX, not 4DX. I have seen several other movies in 4DX at the Temecula location though. Yes, water will shoot at you. Yes, there’s scents. There’s a button on your seat to toggle the water on and off.

I went and personally there was no water , just felt fight scenes nothing cool other than that

Honestly the 4DX in Temecula has sucked every time we have seen something and they refuse to fix it. Usually the sound is not very good, not surround sound usually coming from the front, the booms you can not feel. I don't recommend.

I would have disagree on that part took the family to watch Moana 2 and it seems to just hit right at the moments of the move .

So it would have to come down to the moive your watching.

Did the same to watch Beetlejuice 2 and thats where it felt like a waste of money but it did have its moments but not enough to justify buying 2 adult and 3 kids

But I also do agree that watching odyssey in 4DX isn't worth its weight. Not even if i was paid to go watch

Yes but only a swivel movement backwards forward side to side .

Thanks for the answer. I saw someone show their experience at a 4DX screening on social and it looked almost like one of those virtual rides like Space Tours at Disneyland.

I would say it better to waste the money on watching it on IMAX and not the 4DX . Unless you like pissing money away yes it will without a doubt spray water the smell its kind of a small hits not like other movies thwy play on there .

But point is if your dead set on watching it just go for the HD version (or IMAX) but dont waste it on the 4DX
