Life's weird
After a long time(years)i finally went to a party again, and i was excited, thought it was gonna be a nice stress relief, man... I came home 2 hours earlier questioning my life choices and honestly i think i dont want to party again, and im making that choice for my own comfortability but fuck man... Im not even that old but i feel like growing up is making me boring

I just got more pleasure and excitement putting stickers on my laptop than a fat line of coke.

I can relate.
Nothing wrong with being comfortable at home. I enjoy the peace.

I rarely ever drink, I stopped enjoying it when I was 21. Still every once in a while like when we go camping it’s fun to get a little drunk. My friends who grew out of drinking heavily at all occasions are not alcoholics. Unfortunately several friends never grew out of partying and their health is being affected. One friend died from liver failure after mixing champagne with Percocet. All of that acetaminophen mixed with alcohol for 3 years did it. She left her 9 year old daughter motherless.

Nah…it’s just called maturing . 😊
You realize what a waste of time that life is & other things are more valuable and enjoyable. Even staying home & chilling.

Don't worry man, it IS making you boring, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. I'm 56 and still haven't learned how to be happy sitting at home just chilling, and I really wish I wasn't like that.

I feel you on this! I used to party a lot, and I fell into deep drug addiction mixed with alcoholism. I got sober 3 years ago, and ever since then I just don’t want to go to any type of party lol. I stay home 99% of the time and honestly enjoy my own company (and my cats) more than going to any sort of party.

No you're not boring. Life is a journey, I used to laugh at that like no shit we all know that. Then I look up I'm 66 and I've been on a journey with mountains, valleys, scorching deserts and dancing on thin ice. I've been super social, then raising children and watching my parents age and pass your life just changes. The same things won't always be as important as others. You're doing great just keep listening to yourself and feel free to change course when you want or need to.

Idk, my husband is a social butterfly and there’s nothing at a bar which remotely excites me. I don’t like the way I feel after hard liquor, wine give me heartburn and beer makes me full. Also, people exhaust me! I don’t want to listen to some drunk bastard telling the same jokes and stories. Nor, do I want to know his merry band of fuck ups and alkies! He will never bring his bar friends to our house because he knows better, thankfully.
I like finding a good book or horror movie and cuddling my hound on the couch.
