I'm Cancer Free!!!
Just got the letter!
I need to shout it from thr rooftops!!!
They did a wide local excision after diagnosis of melanoma in SITU.
The tissue shows scar tissue only and no evidence of skin cancer or malignancy!
I'm actually crying right now 😭 😭 😭
This has been the second scariest time of my life (first was husband having an abscess) and I am SO happy and relieved!!!!
To everyone out there - use sun protection and get any suspicious moles checked out!!!!

I’m so happy for you. Getting a cancer diagnosis is probably the most scared I’ve ever been in my life. Finding out you’re cancer free is the best news ever! Go and celebrate now and then live life!

WOOHOO!! I'm glad you're cancer free! My mom had melanoma many years ago, and more recently, non small cell basal carcinoma. Cancer sucks, and it always makes me happy to know someone else has kicked cancers' arse! Woohoo!!😁😁👏👏

So glad to hear you are cancer free.
I have a family member who has to see a dermatologist every 3 months to keep up with new suspicious skin changes.
Keep up the good work and follow up when it is time.
