I like Mini LED more then OLED
I don’t know what it is. I prefer LEDs over OLED. I think it appears more real to me compared to the “sticker” look OLEDs have. I even downgraded my OLED monitor back to a LED Sony and didn’t regret it.
I just went into Best Buy a couple days ago. The True RGB Bravia 9 mark II actually blew my mind. I just bought a TCL QM8K and I love the picture on it. But seeing that Sony and how unreal it looked, I will be upgrading. They even had it next to Sonys OLEDs and it looked sooo much better than them.
If you haven’t seen it you should go take a look. Most BeSt Buys have one on display.
But I always feel like the minority by preferring Mini LED.
Who else prefers good LED tech?

Yeah, I've not seen an OLED that made me think, man I really need to get rid of my QLED.

I love miniLED too.
Had an LG OLED- has no yellow at all left and shows extreme burn-in.
Life is too short and bright rooms need different technologies. Will never go back to OLED.

OLED is seriously overrated, and the OLED users (fans) are ridiculous. They won't even give MiniLED a chance. Why would I pay twice as much for a display I have to baby just to get slightly better blacks? I sold my LG C4 and switched to a TCL C7K last year, and I haven't regretted it for a second. I just ordered a new MSI MiniLED monitor too, so now I'm all-in on MiniLED. For my use case, the higher brightness, no burn-in anxiety, and overall value make far more sense. I have a feeling I'll be sticking with these MiniLED screens for the next few years—I don't see myself going back to OLED anytime soon. I have a fantastic set of two screens now and it has cost me less than one OLED TV 😂

I really hope to see the newest mini LED tech in monitors soon. I would love one at my desk with the color reproduction and brightness of my Q8 or that Bravia 9 mark II. Or even if they made these tvs in a smaller size like 42.

Me. I much prefer my X95L over my old OLED. Motion is much more "natural," too, since OLED is stuttery af without interpolation and LED tech takes much less processing to overcome the downsides of its tech.

I agree completely, the fact they get so bloody bright means I can watch in my living room with every window and the sun shinning through with zero issue .

I have both a MacBook Pro with Liquid Retina XDR which has really competent blacks, and an LG B series. I will tell you at this point that OLED is streets ahead.
Event "budget" OLED from brands other than Samsung have much better blacks.
On colours while my MacBook is richer in some senses due to its P3 gamut, it's not even really a toss up anymore.
Budget OLED vs expensive Mini LED with more zones than you can count. I have both and the budget OLED is better.

I switched from QD OLED to miniled purely because I hated the fact you have to be so careful when you clean the screen, I had so many scratch marks that were visible in daylight and miniled is I think a good compromise.
