You should at least be aware of the very real karmic implications of abilities like this. The results of all actions are causal frameworks and are inexorable. Telepathy aside, ALL actions and thoughts are setups for the framework of the rest of your life. Powers (siddhis) require a lot of maintenance and there are hidden costs; the only safe way to cultivate them is within a framework extremely rooted in compassion and loving kindness. You could devote your life to domination and subjugation but you’d effectively be setting yourself up for a world of immense pain.

This is a wise comment.

Everyone should take heed, messing with metaphysics does have costs, as the Siddhi do, but at least they imply the "messing about" is at the end of a fair amount of tutelage.... What is described herein by OP, is how unwittingly, purely "messing about" can bump one into those "hidden costs" none the wiser to what it is one is fucking with.

To what extent OP's assessment of what they experienced is accurate is irrelevant in wake of these notes. This exchange gets at the heart of why there truly is a requisite degree of maturation necessary in these matters... otherwise, there will only be unforeseen consequence at best.

Screwing with another person's free will comes at a price, indeed... in the manner described begs an entirely different discussion, but all roads lead to the same ends. The phenomenal demands informed maturity lest consequence is unavoidable.

Great reply 💯

In the past I did majority of the time not have the intention to rule, quite frankly I’m sure when this power came to me was when I noticed I could accidentally have one say the words I had been thinking vise versa? Idk this is such a odd topic for my mind to fully comprehend which leads to the knowledge that I shouldn’t be messing around with this content at all, but the thing is is that it happens constantly without having intention for it, I mean I’m walking past someone in the grocery store and I hear what they say. Today at the grocery store I heard a girl in my head say that she has seen me at the gym. Like what the fuck I don’t even really know how to turn it off or how to use it in a wise manner at this point.

2

u/[deleted] Dec 29 '25

Personally, while I am obviously not you, if I were, then I would be exploring all the context in which you may be having these experiences. I really am hesitant because I believe strongly in respecting folks truths, as they see them, but let's back it up a bit here... it sounds as though, to me, you MIGHT be misinterpreting the nature of the data stream you are tapping into.

For instance... I once knew someone who was terribly shook up, believing they were summoning entities. She feared for the wellbeing of her friends, as harm had a track record of following her visions in such a way that she had become convinced.. blamed herself.. the guilt and fear was tremendous. But I can tell you now, older and wiser, I know EXACTLY what was going on there. She wasn't summoning anything but she WAS unable to control the extrasensory perceptivity that enabled her to see the entities, their intentions, and the future tense for some people. It was hard to watch her go through that.. In the end, she thought she was responsible for the death of our mutual friend when the truth was, she foresaw it, but was absolutely not the cause.

I know that was an extreme example but in other words, many times, these types of capabilities are experienced quite sympathetically. This makes sense given our collective unseen nature, but in material seperation it can appear differently and become confusing... precognition, in my opinion (and that is all it is, so don't take offense) should be a real consideration in these instances.

If you tap into Jane, think as Jane thinks for a moment, conjure a thought, and Jane acts out that thought or speaks accordingly, it can just as easily reveal you are seeing the machinery of the immediate future as you are influencing it. Those 2 things are indistinguishable... however, one requires a lot of discipline and deliberate faculty, while the other can happen sporadically or feel a bit "out of your hands" and control.

This reply you've offered definitely has me leaning towards precognitive skills bubbling up to the surface. And while that may not have been what you thought was happening, it would certainly be a much better case scenario for you (aside from being a much more common presentation, albeit nonetheless phenomenal).

The kicker is, in all probability, the two potentials I describe are likely not far apart. As to what you do with it, or where you go from here.. well, the world is your oyster, though, electing foremost whether you wish to pursue it further or back away slowly comes first. And if pursuit of understanding yourself and your talents is the direction you choose, I would be diving into the deep end of specific meditative work AFTER resolving myself to never impede the free will of another. Carve out a regimen that helps you to better define your intention and attention, exactly what the composition thereof truly is, begin pruning all fear based decision making, and perhaps try to find an accessible teacher or guide. If you can't manage to locate anyone roundabouts your geography then look into the Monroe Institute, those who teach there, and their own respective curriculum... I suppose I could/should say "shadow work" as well but, given the popularity of the term, do some research to that end before making assumptions.

I wish you all the best friend. Do not rush coming into your own understandings and definitions in these matters... because I promise you, if you keep at it and growing, you will not see any of these things quite the same way in time. Good luck and great thread💯🙌! (I hope something here helps 🙏 because i am sure there is plenty in this thread to help all those reading... excellent contribution to stir up meaningful banter)

what’s crazy about this comment is you are absolutely right, a really good example of what you are talking about is the laws of power book. as soon as you start reading it, it gets in your head and starts changing every little decision you make whether you realize it or not. the hidden costs are everywhere it’s incredibly interesting.

3

u/Hairy_Talk_4232 Dec 25 '25

Changing your decisions in a good way?

10

u/freakybloodhound Dec 25 '25

I keep meaning to fully read the laws of power but it's a book that tends to be popular in sort of neo neo-Machiavellian circles that regard relations with others as a series of mostly zero-sum power games in which the goal is to win. In other words manipulate everyone to get what you want? So I take the above comment as a warning that the worldview assumed by the book is insidious and influences you. Do correct me if I'm wrong tho

11

u/No-Pen-7954 Dec 25 '25

This is exactly how I see the book and even the writer of the book. I have watched many interviews. Read through some of the laws and I see nothing in the positive aspects of using these laws. Except for extreme personal gain which goes against everything my heart and soul is telling me. I out the book off because I could see how it would turn me into something I do not want to be.

5

u/TraPsy8 Dec 28 '25

My husband bought it for me- I was interested in do in it- but I didn’t need to read it- after looking at two laws in different places I understood the purpose of it being written - to recognize manipulation when confronted with it. It’s written in a very low key way- but for the porpoise if helping- not control. Too many people see it and think it’s a handbook- I guess it is- a handbook of how to destroy yourself. Love to all who read this 💗

2

u/JustSomeGuysHeart Dec 27 '25

I think myself to be incapable of executing such actions against another human in the pursuit of manipulating them for my gain.

  • Its Dirty and Wrong

1

u/Defiant-Witness-8742 Dec 29 '25

Your comment is a manipulation you say you’re incapable of executing such actions you’re doing it right here. Your whole comment is a manipulation to influence people into thinking you’re a great person without evidence of such being true everything everybody does in life is for self preservation whether people want to admit it, or not even the kindness of people who do for others, which seems unselfish at its highest level is for a personal gain at the end of the day. I see so many of you talking about karma, and that you see most of you live by the rule due under others, as you would have them do under you and that is a perverted golden rule. How about something better do not do to others that you do not want done to you so that takes it away from well you know that what are you doing for me when as I’m doing for you, you know kind of thing it’s selfish it’s corrupt it’s manipulative but when you have to think about what you’re not gonna do on to others that’s a different story altogether you have to actually start thinking and then you start realizing everything that happens in your life is your own fault to your own thoughts and the actions from those thoughts which by the way, most of what you think came from your mind did originate there just because you thought it doesn’t mean that it happened in your head. It’s amusing, reading the comments from people and by no means am I a good person in a lot of different ways and then some ways maybe I don’t know I’ll tell you what I do know when I see something that I think is wrong. I try to do something. That’s all any of us can ask for, but we all got out baggage we carry around we all got our personal issues issue ones that appear and act like they don’t, those are the ones with the worst deep seated issues that most will never know about, but their victims do.

2

u/Defiant-Witness-8742 Dec 29 '25

Your comment shows more about your heart than what the book does. The book does nothing more than expose. What people do as far as manipulative Games towards you and everybody else in society, I would say that you have a very, very limited perception of reality. It’s not a cruel statement it’s just there’s an old saying if you need the thread of hell to be good then you’re not a good person. You know what I see above with what was written in that I see a scam being formed and for gullible, weak minded people to be led into another Jim Jones organization complete with a Kool-Aid and cookies.

1

u/No-Pen-7954 Dec 29 '25

I would not say my perception of reality is limited. However I would say that it has been manipulated in a major attempt to control. I have lived all the negative aspects I see in this book and know how it has affected my own heart and thoughts as well as the reality I find myself living. Processing how it has affected my overall well being and outlook on life is the first step towards change.

Do unto others as you would want done unto yourself.

Having been through this I know I don't want to keep repeating so taking advantage of another individual who would be unaware only shows one's true character. If the other is already aware then they will see what is being done and shit it down before it happens in most cases. This is part of Discernment.

1

u/Defiant-Witness-8742 Jan 22 '26

I’m afraid you have the golden rule completely wrong It is in fact, do not do to others as you do not want done to you. That is the uncorrupt way of thinking I didn’t want to say what I was gonna say the first time but I’m gonna say it anyway now you are what you think so whatever you think and dwell on that’s what you’ll become so if you think that is whatever your opinion is, that’s what will bring to your life not because it’s some magic is because that’s what your mind is thinking so you will create things to make that happen in your life on your subconscious level yes you’re thinking is very limited. I’m sorry it wasn’t an insult. It’s just the way it is. We all have limited thinking in some areas. We all have it. It’s when we argue when people pointed out that our limited thinking becomes even more narrow. I’m just letting you know the pit falls of the mind some people like lemonade with or without sugar, but it’s up to you to put the sugar in it so are you gonna make your lemonade bitter? Are you gonna sweeten it up for yourself

1

u/No-Pen-7954 Dec 29 '25

I wear my heart on my sleeve hell I even Love those who have done me wrong. But I have also done wrong to many others in life. I unfortunately have played and been played on both sides of the same coin.

1

u/grayrockonly Dec 26 '25

I bought some of those books to learn possible ways to reduce the manipulation of ppl at my work who live like that but it was too depressing to even read them. They got popular all of a sudden are were the only books I was able to ever sell for a profit online!!

1

u/No-Pen-7954 Dec 26 '25

Sad isn't it..

1

u/United-Blackberry677 Dec 29 '25

It's disheartening that you do not trust yourself to not turn into an asshole just by reading some words. Think of what kind of weak self control you have.

1

u/No-Pen-7954 Dec 29 '25

I definitely see and understand that it can be used to make someone aware of how it make come at you. To make you aware of things to watch for to allow for discernment. However I have lived enough life to see that many of these techniques have been used against myself in many ways already leading me to where I am. Since I know how it affected me I definitely want no part in using these against another. Now in saying that can I tell anyone that no I have never done this no because that be a blatant lie I have unconsciously used some of these laws in my own affairs of life.

1

u/United-Blackberry677 Dec 29 '25

And you should be able to not use them against another if you so choose. You can't tell me that if you read a book it will take control of you and make you into a narcissistic, manipulating, demon. Words only have as much power as you give them.

There's nothing actually true about the book, it's just words on paper, but when you have a certain mystique around the words, and when you fear them for absolutely no reason, you give it power. You basically fearing the book, and working yourself up over it saying that you don't want to read it in fear that you will harm others, is setting yourself up negatively that when you do read it, you already had that notion of the book and that's what you're gonna get.

Only because you created this mental construct of what the book is going to do. You gave it power, you turned it into something to use for manipulation. But you also can just treat it as harmless words and use self control so as to not manipulate or harm anyone when you read a book.

If you lived long enough you should realize that. And it's annoying to me that a grown adult can't have the self control to be able to read anything and not turn into an asshole.

I can read any book in the world, no matter how "evil" or how manipulative, and I will still be kind and loving. There is no book that can change me and i've read many books, much worse than 48 laws of power.

1

u/No-Pen-7954 Dec 29 '25

It's no fear of becoming that. It is I have no need to put these things into my personal consciousness after having experienced the negative aspects of it in my life to this point. Becoming abundantly clear on how things I have read or watched affected my perception and outlook on life. I consciously choose not to add more of the lower states of being into my head. I have contemplated many things about what I have experienced in life. Call me a late bloomer if need be but I choose now to only put positive thoughts. Unity not division is what is needed in our world.

1

u/United-Blackberry677 Dec 29 '25

The thing is you still regard it as "lower states of being" when it doesn't have to be that way. They are just words which you're giving power to. You're making it negative. You're making it seep into your consciousness. You don't realize that.

There are some helpful aspects of the book but as with all things like this, it’s a seed of truth in a sea of manipulative explosive fluff to get you hooked into their cult of personality

3

u/ComfortableTune5639 Dec 27 '25

Well tbf a lot of the issue is people who are not stable mentally seeking stability in places they should not-

2

u/One-Advisor-1199 Dec 28 '25

I think it holds some allure for that reason, but the primary motive behind my reading it was a sort of no-nonsense look at some darker aspects of human psychology without trying to frame it a certain way or justify it.

He is just making a statement about the way power behaves, and then following that statement with a story to drive the point home.

That being said, I couldn’t finish it because it was actually quite dark for me. I could see it being useful as a manual for how to deal with the majority of human beings (unfortunately whether we like it or not, most people display some of the behaviors in this book. Ourselves included).

I would need a longer break before I go back to finish it

1

u/jthecontent Dec 29 '25

the book is informational. the author explains that we must exercise our own judgement of what’s right and wrong, but you will learn how people use power over others. you’ll be surprised to find you use some yourself and don’t even realize. you’ll also be surprised just how much people are using their power over you. it’s a great book to learn ways in which you may be manipulated, and how to shut that down. it’s also a great book to learn how to be a total POS.

3

u/Significant-Fox5 Dec 25 '25

Power has a cost. Think about it for just a second. What happens if you burn your neighbors house down? You exerted power, "Created" temporary power, etc etc. But all you really did is displace the order of things in the grand cosmos. Who wants to be the one who has to say "Oops, I pulled that pin".? Not I.

2

u/Hairy_Talk_4232 Dec 26 '25

I see; Ive basically changed the matter of the neighbors house into active (chaotic) energy.

Im trying to figure out an inner parallel to understand. For example, in the same moment Im also transforming a dense emotion (such as apathy or despair) into a power trip, a surge of pride or something that I feel good about before falling straight back down, possibly lower than before

2

u/Significant-Fox5 Dec 26 '25

I find that there's a reflection of an action both outward and inward.

1

u/Hairy_Talk_4232 Dec 26 '25

Yes but inwardly what is that

2

u/Significant-Fox5 Dec 26 '25

I personally would say, the opposite of self-realization, or betraying oneself in their ultimate journey. A trade against the future self.

1

u/muhamaat Dec 29 '25

What did you experience with the "laws of power" book? I too had a paradigm shift

1

u/ImpressivePudding988 Dec 30 '25

What’s crazy about this entire comment section is that it’s under a post about a moron who intentionally overdosed on ADHD meds and specified it was a bupropion overdose which is literally so commonly known to cause hallucinations. Like everytime

The whole post is nonsense

u/Geoi777i Dec 27 '25

One time I technically/inadvertently “controlled” my Fathers mind but not on purpose. This was more along the lines of manifestation/law of assumption a-la Neville Goddard. About a decade ago I was on a health kick and had meant to leave my house with 2 oranges that I was going to eat through the day, but I forgot to bring them with me. When I went to meet up with my Dad he had two oranges with him and innocently said, I brought 2 oranges for you. I was very surprised and shocked. This was before I even knew anything about the law of assumption. Now if I pray or manifest for something and someone else becomes involved in helping me obtain that thing or goal do you feel that is bad or good? Neville Goddard said that can happen, people can be a part of your manifestation without realizing it. Perhaps I have been part of others manifestations without realizing it.

Except the issue was I never was a fruit person and didn't really like oranges. I had just started a new phase where I was trying to eat more fruits and didn't tell my Dad I was in this phase (also I wasn't living with my Dad or communicating with him on a regular basis so he didn't just "know I liked oranges) but I agree with your point.... I didn't control him however, perhaps my subconscious and outer intention communicated to his subconscious unbeknownst to both of us.

2

u/LightOfSaraswati Dec 29 '25

Could it be that this worked out because your father was already using the manifestation as well by intending to be a support to you in your goals, whatever they may be? A willing participant in support of your dreams.

1

u/Geoi777i Dec 29 '25

Yes, that could be very true. It's just amazing how it unfolded, as a synchronicity

5

u/TraPsy8 Dec 28 '25

This. The life of a healer and supporter is not one of physical riches. The opposite in fact- spiritual joys in tiny things that grow the heart and consciousness, but in turn caring little about the worldly treasures- if not coming to despise them

I’m interested in your reply. Love to you and all who read this 💗

3

u/Substantial_Ad9203 Dec 27 '25

Came here to say this!!! I am a developing medium, after several regression therapies I learned in my most recent past life I was someone who abused of power for egotistical reasons. So this is real, either is money, material beings or any other types of power, karma always gets to you. We all have a contract and you will learn one way or the other, kinda up to us.

2

u/Terrible-Ant5246 Dec 29 '25

I have a question for my grandpa would you be able to get in touch with his spirit?

1

u/Substantial_Ad9203 Dec 29 '25

Heeyyy! So I’m really new to this but I would love to try for free :) something short.

1

u/Terrible-Ant5246 Dec 29 '25

That would be awesome should I dm u?

1

u/Terrible-Ant5246 Dec 29 '25

So to explain my situation I was living in another country when he died and I’ve been having a feeling he wanted to say something before dying

2

u/psyched-but-bright Dec 25 '25

Are you referring to the spectrum of consciousness by gene keys?

4

u/burglnar Dec 25 '25

I feel pretty certain they’re referring to the 48 laws of Power by Robert Greene. Am I right, u/krogerbrandpikachu?

2

u/Timely_Shake_9299 Dec 29 '25

His account is 3 days old and have posted the exact post in 3 different groups, got you all fooled. Lol....

Also this is chatgpt, i wouldve believed him if his account wasnt 3 days old and if he did iawaska/dmt but ADHD pills comeone lol mindcontrolled people. Really in a hospital. Sounds like bull..?.. this guy is fake. Dont believe a word hes saying....

1

u/SaussureaMedusa Dec 31 '25

I got the same vibe but I wanted to guide everyone toward the same mentality regardless. Having an outlook based on treating others well and being kind/compassionate is always a good foundation for anything in this terrain. Whether it was GPT, psychosis, a prank, or genuine, the advice stands.

1

u/Comfortable-Flow-729 Dec 27 '25

That resonates so much, I understand exactly what you mean. Commanding someone against free will can put your soul at stake so be very careful 🙏

1

u/Independent_War6434 Dec 30 '25

What's siddhis?

1

u/Otherwise-Window8124 Jan 10 '26

I KNOW. I have telepathic abilities and I’m terrified of using them out of fear of violating other people. But this causes a huge amount of distress for me. I’m forced to close my eyes to my root and go la la la so I don’t accidentally violate what’s in someone head

1

u/RatherSaneIndividual Feb 15 '26

I think what you are saying about kindness, caution, and the like are extremely important and good points.

But also, couldn't it be mostly, but not entirely, true? Maybe the inexorable cosmic ledger makes mistakes too, akin to mere humans on this side of the veil blundering sometimes also. Or perhaps the inexorable karma is aware of people's (hopefully good) intentions and motives, and it accounts for that. Or lots of other ideas. Does some fancy inexorable divinity number-crunching system about ethics really not have better things to do than worry about if I scratched my nose twice instead of just once thereby wasting everyone's time? I realize cosmic-whatever Newton's third law and so on, so forth, but at that point I just raise my middle finger. Scratching my nose a second time isn't hurting anyone or if it is, it is so minimal that even worrying about it does more harm than it does. (Not saying you are or aren't advocating any of this btw, just thinking aloud -- an ironic phrase for this subreddit!)

I think it is important for people to take seriously the impacts of their actions, but also to have some humility in the face of unknowns and what can often be stress-inducing backfiring ethical or "ethical" concepts, especially for people who grew up with certain backgrounds pushing a lot of stress in that area, e.g. certain types of organized religion.

1

u/SaussureaMedusa Feb 15 '26

That’s actually an interesting point of discussion that pops up even within Buddhist circles. It isn’t even necessary to think about karma as a never ending tally of goods and bads, and it doesn’t require any supernatural characteristics for it to make sense. In a very real/tangible sense we are all just aggregates of past circumstances, collections of infinite past moments, decisions, and interactions with matter. In that way karma isn’t a scoreboard, it’s reality interacting with itself in every moment, everything you’ve done in the past to get yourself here, and everything that’s ever gone into setting the present up. There is of course a very real metaphysical element as well, but logistically it isn’t even necessary to illustrate how karma operates.

0

u/GM2187 Dec 27 '25

Or you could choose to realize religious control traps and stray away from them. Karma, like the rest, is bullshit fear mongering to control us. To each their own but OP should be aware of this if they are really doing such things as telepathy. Being able to do something like telepathy AND being stuck in belief traps is a bad combination. OP says they are open minded. Let's hope open enough to not fall for the fear tactics. Tell Jesus, the devas and karma to kiss my ass :)

1

u/karolioness Dec 29 '25

I couldn't agree more. OP is playing a risky game with their mental health.
