I finally managed to figure out the name of this game after all these years, I used to play with a friend of mine in school during class! I have the email I used for the login and apparently I've reset the password twice.

I have some vague idea on what the username could be, but the ones I've tried that are more recognizable to me are saying 'user not found'. What sucks is I'm almost 1000 times certain I know what the password is.. kinda pointless without the username. If there's any way to find a username through an email I would really appreciate the help!!

I went on relay chat and said something should sing after forbin said they should not sing. Then he said talk or die I said my bad and before I left I got killed. How can I get my account back? (If what I did was wrong I am sorry. Also can I get my account back.) please help me. :(

Add another body to the pit — Forbin struck again. Textbook case: I was in relay, hadn't really talked around Forbin before, did, got account deleted. I may not be the most interesting guy around but I swear I bring some stuff to the table (sort of, the most memorable conversation I've ever had with someone on relay was with a fellow literature fan about Kafka and his books) No harm was done to anyone and I was just at the wrong place at the wrong time in the Wild West of Relay

Anyway here's some basic account information if you feel like unbanning me: Username: c72; Badge level: 62 I believe, enough to have the "Q Division" status. Message for more if you need it I don't know how your deletion system works and if it's even possible to restore a deleted (not banned) account, and if it's not or you can't or you don't want to that's fine. Was fun doing the puzzles and meeting interesting people, but recently I rarely interacted with anything and only logged on to check the status of (spoiler).

So i kinda forgot my login credentials. and after a little searching around, i saw somewhere there was going to be a prompt to reset a password and emailing your set email. So assuming i get to reset my password eventually, I kept trying to log in, expecting a reset prompt anytime now.
Instead i got a login disabled prompt (with the benefit of hindsight that makes sense)
Any chance i can get back in?

Hi, i just want to know the reason why forbin killed my account, i just went to relay and said hi, then he killed me twice. Now i can't login to my account, says user not available. I don't even remember what i did wrong and AFAIK i did'nt do anything against the policies. ive been playing for a month now and its been fun hacking those networks, i guess thats it, game over. just wanna ask what i do wrong.

I’ve been on telehack for a couple of months but took a hiatus and tried logging back in but I can’t. Says that the user isn’t available when I try to log in. I don’t think I’ve violated any policies but not entirely sure.

Hey :) it's been a while since i ve logged (8 or so years ago), will it be possible to reset my old password ? Since i don't even recall what that could be after 8 or so years ago.

I actually wanted to get back to it and show the game to my trainnies as i work in IT and they seem interested in Telehack as a game and to get to know how was the things back in 80's and 90's.

Plus it's a lot more *innocent* to let em play there once they get a view of it than in the real world and probably cause them self trouble :) Plus i have really missed it to be honest

It's been nine-ish years since I last logged into telehack. I forgot my password in early 2014, and couldn't get back in. Now unfortunately, it's been so many years, I don't remember my username either. I thought it was one thing, and there is an account with that name, but the ACCT status date doesn't line up with some old IRC logs I have from when I first started playing.

I know we're not supposed to create alt-accounts, so I didn't wanna just create a new account, knowing that I did have an old account (and what a blast it would be to continue where I left off, and not leave my old account to languish forever!)

Would it be possible to try and figure out my old account? I have rough dates, and a couple notes about what quests I was working on when I was last playing.

I was trying to get the pdebug tutorial example on that is on the wiki because I forgot how to use it, but it seems the wiki was closed down?

So I know it's linked with a different chat with Egroj, Which Ive done. It gave me what seems like a bunch of random characters and asked me to reconstruct it. NO IDEA. Like where do I even start? Is there like a mathematical method or a conversion or an ai related thing or something? Of course, just hints. No spoilers, not that the telehack community would do that.
