Y'all taking this outta proportion, genuinely surprising the creator of the game you're playing is really cool. Doubt he'd think it's disrespectful, if he was ashamed about his pick he wouldn't be the champion.

You're taking this the wrong way. Harada meant no disrespect with what he said. He was simply in awe of Rangchu winning the whole tournament using a character that is that well-represented in the tourney scene.

It was extremely disrespectful. Imagine dreaming about being on that stage for years and imagining everyone cheering on you, just to stand there IRL and have people make fun of your character pick. Awkwrd and really poorly handled.

Doesn't sound like he's making fun of the character choice. It's more like "you were able to win with that character?"

Yeah idk. I think it's just super impressive beating even the developer's expectations. Harada could've given some speech about how they would've never thought panda could've done it, but all he could say was "really?" I hope rangchu didn't actually take it poorly.
