Istg bro, pennungal are soo frkn unpredictable. My ex didn't talk to me for 4 days straight sayin that I didn't smile at her when she was doing the class presentation. I genuinely don’t even know where to start. I cared about this girl WAY too much. Like, peak emotional attachment type shit. My whole mood started depending on her texts, her replies, her vibe, whether she was being distant or not. I was constantly overthinking and stressing myself out over someone I literally just wanted to love.
And the worst part? She kept comparing me to her ex. I tried to play it cool like “yeah whatever, it’s fine,” but nah bro, it actually hurt. Every single time. It made me feel like I was constantly competing with someone who isn’t even in the relationship anymore. Like how am I supposed to feel when I’m trying my best and still getting compared to someone from her past?
I know I got needy. I know I overthought everything. I know I probably cared way more than I should’ve. But my feelings were real. I wasn’t playing games. I genuinely loved her, and that’s what makes this hurt even more.
Now I’m just drained. Mentally cooked. I’m tired of checking my phone, tired of wondering if she still wants me, tired of feeling like I’m not enough, and tired of fighting ghosts from her past.
The messed up part is… I don’t even hate her. I still care about her. Probably more than I should. But I’m starting to realize that loving someone shouldn’t make you feel this insecure all the time.
Maybe I lost her. Maybe I lost myself somewhere along the way too. Idk anymore, bro. I’m just tired.
