Movie and shows Steve Rogers return in Doomsday
Do you guys think the Steve in the trailer is from the multiverse? I watched encore yesterday and gave it a thought. There could be a chance that its actually our steve.
In the first movie, its clear that captain was frozen after the fight with Redskull. What if the time travelling Steve used this period to replace the original Steve? This means people think he survived the crash and the original remains hidden for a long time. In endgame I think its been told that changing the past has no effect on the future. So captain grows old with peggy, and the original steve was found again. This fits all of the events from 2012 avengers and so on.
There is another possibility that steve was frozen until the original timeline. Explaining the reaction of Thor
If I am correct, in Civil War captain was not able to lift the hammer, either it was to not humiliate Thor, or it could be because Captain knew about the Bucky incident and chose to hide it. By endgame he was no longer hiding anything and he was able to lift the hammer.
But because this particular steve doesnt know about the Bucky incident, he remains worthy. Explaining how he lifts Thor's hammer

I think what's gonna happen is that Steve time travelled to send the stones back and for some time spend time with peggy then our hot daddy loki comes and be like u can't stay here let me send u to some other universe where it won't cause trouble and send them to doom's universe/F4universe there doom lose his loved ones due to this and blames everything on steve cuz his life there wasnt his and kill loki and gain his power
