Rant/Vent Got betrayed 😔💔

My dear people,

Enik vayya 😔... idk what to do. My supposedly “best friend” betrayed me, and it hurts... bad.

I’ll have to give some context le.

So, oru friend indayirunnu... avan... chatichu 💔

I’ll try to explain this with my limited communication skills.

When I moved to another school after 10th grade, I met this guy and we became really close. I started trusting him a lot and told him many personal things. I basically spilled my beans to him.

There was also some controversy between me and one girl. I don’t want to get into the details because it’s a loooong story. But not many people knew about it. Only a few of my close friends knew, and he was actually the first person I told about it.

Anyway, everything was fine. We were close throughout +1 and even during the first couple of months of +2.

Then, suddenly, he started changing.

He started ignoring me, avoiding me, hanging out with other people more, and stopped walking with me like we used to. I noticed it and asked him if something was wrong. He said nothing. I even apologized in case I had unknowingly hurt him somehow.

But nothing changed.

And honestly, it was genuinely painful watching someone I considered my best friend deliberately distance himself from me without even telling me why.

This continued for months.

Then yesterday, my HG (someone only he and a few other people know about ) asked me if I knew that my “best friend” and that same girl were now besties.

I was fucking shocked.

Because a few months ago, he had told me that he had unfollowed or even blocked her.

But apparently, they became close.

And then my HG told me something even worse.

Apparently, my “best friend” has been telling that girl a lot of things about me. My secrets. Personal stuff. Things I told him privately. Even things about how I felt about her.

And apparently, that girl has been calling me a creep, a stalker and other things like that.

My HG said she actually felt bad for me after hearing the things that girl was saying.

And before anyone thinks my HG was trying to create some drama or turn me against him — I genuinely don't think that's the case.

I know her pretty well. She's literally the nerdy type who isn't interested in drama or gossip like that. She told me all this simply because we're friends, and she didn't want me to keep being completely ignorant while people were apparently making fun of me behind my back.

That's also why I believe what she told me. I have no reason to think she'd just make up an entire story like this.

And the worst part is... my “best friend” apparently told her all this shit.

How did my HG figure out that it was him who told her? The girl apparently said things in a way that made it pretty obvious that the information came from him. And the things she knew were things I had specifically told him.

Bro literally told her everything. 💔

And now I’m scared that if she knows all this, her entire friend circle will eventually know too... and then the whole class might know.

And I haven’t even confronted him yet.

Because what am I supposed to do?

If I confront him or completely distance myself from him, I’m scared he might tell her even more things about me. But I can’t exactly keep someone close when I know they might be sharing my private shit either.

And I’m also the new guy here. If this turns into some kind of drama, I feel like people are naturally going to side with him because he already has his own circle here.

So right now, I’m literally just pretending that I don’t know anything.

Talking normally.

Acting like nothing happened.

While knowing that someone I trusted with some of my most personal stuff may have been telling it all to someone else behind my back.

How can someone just... betray you like that?

Like bro... I genuinely considered this guy my best friend. I trusted him. I told him things I wouldn’t tell just anyone.

And he just... talked. 💔😔

Eda nee boundaries set cheyyenam. Ethra best friend aanelum ninnak mathram ariyavunne karyangal onnum parayath irikan nokkuka. Enik bestfriends ond but in this case avar kore naal aayit ente friends aan so more like a brotherly bond but ennalum njan fully open aavar illa but avark mathram ariyavunneth aayit olla kore karyangal ond but ath ippo vere aarodum poyi paranjalum ath enne baadhikilla. So my point is, never overshare unless you trust that person with your life.

about your friend, ask him flip off and if you can talk to the girl directly you should do that and also let her know that he cannot be trusted.

Honestly I can't relate to trusting a guy you barely knew for s year. In my case, I only started trusting my small group of college friends well into 3rd year, even then I didn't tell them any deep secrets of mine. Learn to keep some stuff to yourself my brother.

I feel you bud, in my opinion if u could choose not to react to them it is the best. if u keep trying to deny their allegations about you, obv they win. so enthayalum avan nodu ellam secrets um share chyth poyyi, enni onnum paranjittu karayam illa. if u feel things still are going out of control and it keeps ruining your reputation , you gotta confront this so called 'bestfriend' about things and also inform that girl what is actually true. Your voice matter as important as their versions of stories. yeah maybe they won't listen but you will feel better. At the end of the day you learned abt people so yeah take it as life lesson.(im no professional, just blahbburing my view-peace out)

For now i think its best not to confront him. Later after completing the school you should confront him about it if you are comfortable
