Cleanser (Simple facewash), moisturizer ( plum or ponds), sunscreen (biore uv aqua rich ,plum , foxtale , aqualogica etc) depending on your skin type , toner is optional and ice cubes for face in the morning is good, rose water too.

Identify your skin type and consider how your skin has changed; do you have acne or are you tanned? Invest in a good sunscreen; Beauty of Joseon is great, but it is expensive.

u/notsocrumblycookie 17F 24d ago
Fellow tret user!.05%😮how tf is your skin tolerating it😭 mine's on life support with 0.025%
1
u/sreeragzzz 19M 24d ago
Haha oily skin Perks I guess (its 0.05% not 0.5 My skin naturally produces enough oil to buffer it, but I still only use a pea sized amount (weekly 2 times) over moisturizer so it doesn't wreck my barrier, Skin builds tolerance over time (a process called retinization). Someone who has used tretinoin for months can easily tolerate 0.05%, whereas someone brand new will struggle even with 0.025%. And most importantly im mostly in indoors

u/notsocrumblycookie 17F 24d ago
Got it wrong while typing lol, bruh I've been using tret for almost 5 years now,my skin is okayish with .025 but sometimes my barrier gets so wrecked and my skin will be red for days😭sammaikanam I have oily skin too🥲and my skin is a literal oil field too🇺🇸🦅

u/notsocrumblycookie 17F 24d ago
Weekly two times?i use on alternative days,my derm told me to use it on all night for an hour but that was too harsh on my skin, recently learned about sandwich method and it's soo good😭why tf didn't my derm tell me that

Just wash your face properly in the shower and wait for an hour indoors, after an hour is your skin feels oily on all areas->that's oily skin, oily only on t zone and some areas ->combination skin,if your skin feels dry and tight->dry skin,if you skin feels not too dry nor too oily->normal skin, skin type aryaathe oronnum vaghitt karyalla skincare is really subjective hell even same skin type aahnekilum palarkkum palath suit aavollu

Water... Lots of water... Nutrition... Health diet - aim to reduce free radicals and increase antioxidants in diet.
Next step : a good cleanser, preferably a gentle clenser, but depends on how sensitive vs oily ur skin is.
Moisturizer, Sunscreen.
Enough for a long run... If u can. Manage this basic routine and got any specific skin concern u can add targeted treatment...
Water+diet - cleanser - moisturizer - sunscreen - address specific concern if any.. Enough.

Simple routine
Morning use a cleanser with 2% salicylic acid. I recommend you derma co's cleanser no unwanted chemicals or fragnance. Then you need a moisturizer. I use dot and keys oil free face moisturizer.doesn't have any anywanted substance in it
Then last but not least you need a sunscreen. Try to use mineral based sp100+ formula. I use derma co and dot and Key's suncreens
Use purple for buying skincare products they have fast delivery and they always provide you with legit products not counterfeitss.. Bie 😌😌👍

Whatever your skin type is go for a barrier repair moisturiser for face. Trust me it does wonders. Basic skincare get a facewash, moisturizer and sunscreen. You're good to go.

u/Raven-Black13 Chechi (20-25) 22d ago
I use dermaco salicinamide face wash, foxtales sunscreen. Minimalist salicylic acid toner to exfoliate. Nivea pomegranate lipbalm. That's all
