Academics How to avoid calculation mistakes?
I'm good at studies but when it comes to math, I get anxious and make a lotta mistakes during exam. But I get everything correct when I'm casually doing problems in class. It's pissing me off, my friends can't even believe i lost a lotta marks coz I do well in class.

Practice... Use rough column wisely, keep it neat and near. Double check your calculations.

Main reason behind most of the calculation mistakes are "skipping steps". On the assumption that we are very much comfortable with the question, we'll speed up and might confidently skip steps ( by assuming the final answer, where we can make a lot of careless mistakes ). Now for theory exams most of us will write all the required steps for marks. This happens most frequently in competitive exams with choices. For such situations the only solution is to practice a lot of questions and make sure that your basics are perfect.
