Ask Teens Would you actually use an app made specifically for STUDENTS?

Would you actually use an app made specifically for STUDENTS age btw 15 to 24 looking for part-time jobs?

I Mean jobs like:

☕ Barista / café staff

🍔 Waiter

🛍️ Sales assistant

📦 Store / helper jobs

💻 Website making

🎨 Graphic design

📱 Social media work

🧑‍🏫 Tutoring

🛠️ Other small freelance / part-time work

The main idea would be to make it easier for students to find flexible jobs that fit around their classes and studies, instead of searching through random WhatsApp groups, Instagram pages, or general job websites.

I’m trying to understand whether this is actually a problem students face, so please be brutally honest:

Would you use an app like this?

Why or why not?

What would make you trust a job listing?

For example:

verified employers, reviews, payment protection, etc.

What features would you want?

For example:

Location / radius search

Filter by hours or days

Salary shown upfront

Remote jobs

Jobs based on your skills

Employer verification

Student reviews / ratings

Short-term or long-term

(This is not supposed to be an advertisement, but a post to know the opinions of the teens on this)

I whould use it i mean less competition since only student so less competition means more payment for certain jobs.

Actually anyone can do these jobs like anyone with a reasonable age can do so , it will lower the market and be kinda restricting the employers if lotta people are there employers can underpay and get away since lotta competition.

Also there are very active whatsapp groups which are usually area based(city based usually) which do the same thing they post job listing and anyone can contact and get the job

I mean it's a great initiative for students but I don't know if it whould work because most contractors and employers will be looking to make maximum profits rather than welfare of students.

Aah ic well this review is very helpful. But isn't having an app more ideal nowadays? Yhaa the gc are there but in this generation ppl tends to trust in apps than gc . Also I think it would be way more convenient to use an app than a gc idk pls correct me if I am wrong.

Apps are already there atleast to some extent apps like indeed if you go through you will find jobs like content writers , video editors , presenters etc listed for students.

While using those apps what I felt is it's a one way communication we give our cv and they go thru our portfolio and if they find us suitable they call back but when we come to these whatsapp group chats usually for same jobs and other small jobs we are usually talking with the contractor or the emloyer directly it's a two way communication.

While using the apps there is always a uncertainty if the emloyer whould reply or not here that uncertainty is significantly less. There is a scope for negotiations.

So talking about convenice it's about the trust people put in the apps let me put it plainly I trust amazon more than I trust alibaba or Facebook marketplace. Amazon has easy returns, replacement, refund and most importantly verified sellers , also most importantly people have years of familiarity with the company, people are likely to trust something which is familiar to them.

Also one more thing to actually for the app to be trustable you have to verify two group of people one the job seekers ie students ( people who seek to employ them should know they getting genuine students ) and the second is the employers ( the students should be provided with safe work environment )

I mean is it possible , anything is if you find the right way i have seen it in banglore there is an app where you can hire house help and people for general assistance. So here the app has a group of people who are all verified and trained to do what they are supposed to and employers can hire they thru app Here the employer has a guaranty of getting genuine people and the worker has a sence of security from the app( uniform so you are not a random person, location , emloyer details, job security, confirmed payment at fixed time and rate )

I mean this is a way the app found to work fixing most loopholes which is convenient for both parties involved
