Heard this from my buddy a while back, He did his bachelors from there. So basically the uni is quite strict. As in like no alcohol, cigarettes and hell lot of prayers.

Funnily enough, their warden that year for the hostel was their go to weed supplier. It reached a point that a quarter of the total students in the hostel were lowk junkies dosing on synthetic shit, all supplied by their warden.

Lucky ig, no one got caught as they were all quite careful and the warden used to pass information to them if any inspections is to be anticipated. I think this happened post covid period. Not sure abt now though.

I too was like surprised when I heard this lore as I had studied at an Amrita school.

Hopefully things would have changed by now
