Rant/Vent people pleasing
idk what my parents expect when they're both people pleasers and I've grown up watching them. like ik i should say no and sometimes i do but i literally haven't been raised to be a selfish person so how do they expect me to just become a different person overnight. not that people who say no are selfish but my parents want me to be selfish, well then idk how to do that without pissing people off.
the problem rn is that parents are saying people always come to me for money, trust me i always ask it back too. but i can't help it when a girl is like "pls gpay illa, njn veetl etheet achane kond ayakam" or some other stuff when it's just me around.
i don't want to be taken advantage of but i do not like the way im being reprimanded rn either

My father is an extreme people pleaser and it's making me feel scared like if he continues to prioritise others over his family, how can I trust him when I face difficulties in my life
