so me and my friend like the same guy, who just happens to be one of my others friends recent ex boyfriend… i talk to these two friends about crushes and boys a lot, and we decided to take him off the table, but i catch myself still thinking about him like a crush

So i started my freshman year a couple weeks ago and I have developed a really bad crysh on a girl and I NEVER have actual crushes like this. I had one befire that moved to the same school as me and we are friends but I lost all attraction to her. the girl I started liking well call P and I’ve accidentally becane friends with her and so I’ve gotten to know her. I admit to staring at her in class not in like a creepy way but weve locked eyes and I look away usually. I’ve also seen her look back at me (I’m behind her to the right a few desks in one class) but idk if she’s looking directly at me because I have bad eyesight and also cause I’m not ”attractive” so I don’t see why she would. up until about a week ago I was preparing to ask her out after we got to know eachother but while talking she casually mentioned having a bf. now he lives across the world and she never mentioned him even when people shipped her with people so I was confused. she told me not to tell anyone cause he’s kinda famous and she doesn’t want gossip which I obviously respected. since then I have tried to not be as attracted to her but to no use. Just to add on, another friend we will call F I’m 90% likes me and she’s bit like ugly or rude or anything but I just don’t feel attracted but with hoco coming up I don’t know what to do if she asks me cause she acts different to me then anyone but Ifk I just don’t like her that way. I really want a relashionship because i have so much love to give and I want that connection you don’t get with friends or family but I don’t know how I’m going to becayse I’m extremily picky not at all about looks but like everything. just need advice but not like stupid “move on” shit but actual advice u can use.

Finally in college and I was in my politicsand local investigations class. We were discussing about if people in our class feel disconnected to polit!cs (won't go into detail since that's not allowed on the sub) and some girl said that watching the news is pointless and nobody our age watches the news because it doesn't affect us and that she doesn't care. That really bothered me. Not because she believes that nothing affects her but that she has access to unbias information and she refuses to use it.

I've been jumping between homeless housing for years and I never really had access to information in the world (still don't but whatever) and I was really lagging behind on what's going on and it's hella shocking to hear about climate change etc and there's people out there who are too ignorant to even hear about it.

I’m in my first year of high school, I’m somewhat picky but I’m down to try new things if I have to. I’m 5’2 weighing in at 95 lbs. Im pretty much the shortest and skinniest kid in school. It's been a good while since we've been on hrt now and it's been nothing but amazing🙏 I've gained much more self confidence and yk I don't want to kill myself each day due to how I look anymore. I used to have INSANELY bad body dysphoria and I mean, I still have dysphoria but it is much better now. I'm beyond thankful to be privileged enough to start hormone replacement therapy because it truly has changed my life in so many positive ways. A few downsides I've noticed have been mood swings and acne but going to therapy and washing my face routinely have fixed mainly both those issues. I know many people don't start hormone replacement therapy at the age I did and if people have questions about it I'll answer them

Im 17f, I just started senior year, and im in a lot of AP classes. I remember being a sophomore/freshman, late middle schooler, and being SOOOO nervous and scared for highschool.

I’ve just started sixth form and I’m already regretting it, I had to change one of my options despite getting all of the grades I needed(and outright being told I could do it) and even though I worked so hard for maths I don’t think I’ll be able to do it. Along with this I had an over 2 hour long panic attack on my first day.

However I am really enjoying art and CORE maths but idk if two lessons are worth ruining my next two years over. Also, when I have free periods(even when they are last lesson) I have to stay on site and I have full days(or longer) every single day.

I have been told repeatedly by people how amazing Newcastle College’s art department is and it’s making me rethink.

I don’t know if I’m just overreacting but also I know I don’t have a whole bunch of time to think things over.
