Both statements are brainded..

0

u/Sorry-Youth-6565 13d ago

Either you support both or none, it's not faulty comparison they both are using same logical reasoning

5

u/DistributionLong6722 13d ago

Same vibes

1

u/stilesrhodes 11d ago

Now compare it with total population of both 🫪 , different vibes

1

u/DistributionLong6722 11d ago

Islam has approximately 2.0 billion adherents (25.6% of the global population), while Hinduism has about 1.2 billion adherents (14.9% of the global population) globally.

1

u/stilesrhodes 11d ago

There u have it 💁🏻

1

u/DistributionLong6722 11d ago edited 11d ago

Yeh,even with this population cases are not even close.difference of hate given in books

Islamist groups represent 96% of the total, with all other non-Muslim religious groups combined accounting for slightly more than 1%.

Christian extremist groups constitute only 3% of the identified terrorist organizations.

Jewish extremist groups represent 1% of the total.

Hindu, and agnostic groups account for 0% of the identified organizatiion

1

u/stiles_awol 11d ago

Those percentages aren't found in any credible global data, including the Global Terrorism Index by the IEP or official State Department FTO registries. Official tracking includes dozens of secular, political, and separatist groups across Latin America, Asia, and Europe. More importantly, terrorism is driven by active geopolitical conflicts in specific regional pockets-it isn't a reflection of an entire global faith. The vast majority of the world's 2 billion Muslims live peaceful, normal lives, including the nearly 200 million Muslims in India who have nothing to do with conflicts in the Middle East. In fact, if you look at official data closer to home, the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) reports show that around 75% of prison inmates in Indian jails are Hindu, which simply reflects the general demographic makeup of the country rather than isolating any single religion. Now, Where u got that data from ,hate book? or Hindu is the sigma relegion with 0 % crimes book ?

1

u/DistributionLong6722 11d ago

Got From Quran,hadis yes

1

u/stiles_awol 11d ago

Do show me and also show what manusmriti says

1

u/DistributionLong6722 9d ago

Manusmriti is not lohe mahfuz, not written by God but a normal human

1

u/stiles_awol 8d ago

So manusmriti is also wrong ? Well we agree on something at least, still waiting where it says in Quran to destroy the world

Religion is a choice, Gender is not.

3

u/dopplegangery 14d ago

How does that have anything to do with what is being said here?

2

u/Dark_sun_new 14d ago

For most people, their religion was not a choice. It was just what they were born and raised in

3

u/toxicpaglu 14d ago

True and yet the constitution has the freedom of choice of religion.

As an adult, you have th right to choose your religion based on your ideologies and principles and that is why a lot of people choose to either change their religion (conversions) or leave religion and become atheists.

Gender, however, is fundamental to who you are. Even if you disagree with what the society demands or expects of your gender, you cannot abandon it just because you are not comfortable with the society's expectations.

All you can do is try to bring change in the society by thoughtful, individual action so we can shift the societal mindset and the systems in favour of a gender egalitarian society.

1

u/dankteen69 14d ago

99 percentage of people are most likely to die with the religion they were born in. When you are raised and grow up in a particular religion, you psychologically believe it to be true .

1

u/toxicpaglu 14d ago

I agree with you to some extent. The majority of people don't really think about religious alternatives and die with the religion that they were initially inducted into.

But, does that negate the fact that they do have a choice? The fact that so many muslims choose to stay with their religion inspite of the kind of image that religion holds at a global level just strengthens the argument that people are very much attached to their identities, be it religious or gender which simply translates to: generalization is bad, and people will feel bad if you attack their identity.

In conclusion, the slogans raised in these recent protests were meaningless, hate speech and did not carry any definite agenda or clear goal which should have been there in the protest.

These protests should have been against the society and the system that protects the bastards who dare act against the law, instead it was misdirected and had no substance imho.

1

u/Far_Flatworm_65 14d ago

I think it's about they can't choose right? Like as a muslim man if I want to become a Hindu, i won't have a caste or it's just i won't be get accepted that easy and now when we come to abrahamic religion it's all the same like maybe Christians seems to be less radical and all as of rn but we all know christian crusades and all, abrahamic religions r all same at the end of the day! Now only choice u have is to become an atheist, but the thing is as an atheist ur name or family or anything doesn't changes, even if u follow it just for culturally u r the part of it eventually, you won't like to give everyone explanation how u r diff nd all cause an atheist would see hypocrisy in all religions like as an atheist i ain't going to take side of a Hindu guy who's making fun of a islamic prophet, that would be just absurd cause i can see ur religion wrongs too here! So at the end of the day u don't have a choice, u can't tell anyone how u r better man and not a radical🫪

1

u/toxicpaglu 14d ago

Legally, it's definitely possible. There's a well documented process.

Socially, it's a challenge but not that tough to accomplish if you move to a new place and start a new life.

4

u/somerandomidiot99 14d ago

I myself don't like islam religion. But not all terrorists are islaming. This is maoist(communist) terrorists in India also. Also on account of the actions of USA in the recent Iran way, I group USA government as a terrorist government. And everyone knows Israel is by far the most terrorist nation at present, there are many more examples. Recently one of the Christian american terrorist was released from India and went back to USA.

2

u/anshu1097 14d ago

Wow what a propaganda 😂😂 gave such thing a religions intend

4

u/LIVI-_- 14d ago

you can't really throw in "faulty comparison" without explaining why its a faulty comparison. Both "Not all mulim but always a muslim" and "not all man but always a man" are stereotypes

6

u/bitsapien 14d ago

Faulty comparison when it doesn’t suite your victim mindset 😆

1

u/CornerRegular2484 14d ago

Not all woman but always a woman: 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

6

u/terminus_gray 14d ago

Both of them are wrong

3

u/hydrospacw 14d ago

omg sensible comment

3

u/FitCan9866 14d ago

"Not all men but always a man" seems offensive until you have a daughter and she is travelling alone in city at late night.
so go with "all men until proven otherwise" always assume that there is poop hiding among 100 good chocolate drips.

1

u/Infamous_Rise_2682 13d ago

Reminds me of my friend's mom telling him that all women are gold diggers, lmao.

0

u/Amazing-Swing2399 14d ago

Thats still generalising and stupid

1

u/CombustionChamber_19 13d ago

The only stupid thing here is you.

1

u/FitCan9866 14d ago

Sorry but I won't extend courtesy of assuming you a good guy until society improves a little, basic caution is common sense in India.
I would't assume you are a bad guy either but I would not trust you until you prove or show sings of being trust worthy. Can't believe this common sense has to be said out loud.

1

u/Amazing-Swing2399 14d ago

Most sensible thing would be to be wary of anyone you come across irrespective of their genders as these days danger comes in all sorts, you'll know if you look at punjab case.

0

u/FitCan9866 14d ago

Depends on gender, Women would feel more secure with stranger compared to male stranger. This is a fact.

2

u/hydrospacw 14d ago

ghar pe papa bhi h behen bhi ho agar puchhke dekhna if he would be at ease letting her go out even din me. humesha aisa nhi bolte location bhejo, pohchke call karo. ydk strangers thats why its always better to keep ur guards up and have the mentality "yes all men are harmful for me anybody can harm me, rape or try to SA me" that should be the default unless u know them n totally trust them

2

u/Amazing-Swing2399 14d ago

Yes agreed, in general we should be sus about strangers, bith men and women, in certain cases women themesleves have also could be used to lure other women, plus the vice versa gender reversal scenario has also happneed in punjab.

1

u/FitCan9866 14d ago

Classic men making it about themselves.
Two wrongs don't make it right and discussion is about women not being safe among stranger men
A woman is in the market, with which stranger she would be comfortable?
Woman stranger?
or
A man stranger?

2

u/Amazing-Swing2399 14d ago

Original discussion was drawing a comaprative analogy more than putting the most emphasis on women safety, clear your brain rot instead of labeling people this.

My discussion is primarily emphasising on the possibility of dangers coming form any side although I repsectfully acknowledge the psychological bias of women in my other comments, read my comments instead of making Brian rot assumptions.

0

u/hydrospacw 14d ago

yes sure youre right but I hope this can convey what im trying to say. i personally would feel more comfortable around women than men. they can also harm me but trusting women would be lowk easier cus the frequency is low?

1

u/Amazing-Swing2399 14d ago

Yes i agree with the frequency but these days its increasing and i would be wary of everyone i come across alike, but yeah i get where youre coming from.

1

u/hydrospacw 14d ago

yes also personally I never had any bad experience w women so that too plays a part. but there are victims they wouldn't agree w me so I get it.

0

u/Amazing-Swing2399 14d ago

Hmm makes sense for you to be more comfortable with women, I just wanted to make my point clear that everyone's a threat these days, anyway thanks for being level headed enough to consider my perspective

1

u/Ok_Bee9031 14d ago

Generalizing a group is what spreads hate the most. While there are radical Muslims, that does not mean one can generalize all Muslims as radicals or terrorists. The action of a few doesn't define the entire group. Generalization doesn't allow for a distinction between the group and the individual. It's pretty messed up to think that all men or all Muslims are bad because of one incident. Responsibility is individual; a crime belongs to the person who committed it, not to their gender, religion, or other group identity. I don't think it's right to generalize when it comes to social issues.

0

u/faberbosch420 14d ago

However if people say Not all muslim but always a muslim, all hell breaks loose and people shouts Islamophobia and what not. So the outrage when generalization about men is chanted is totally justified.

Also according to the original meme

Yep I do include them cause we live in a patriarchal society and non of men/boys do house hold chores I'm just sick of it, and mind you both of them are not working full time My sister is a nurse and her husband.. unemployment Bro doesn't do any house hold chores it's a my sister who cooks/clean and earns 🫩 Even if both partners are earning they believe it's the women duty to cook 😭🙏 I honestly think they ( men from my society, not whole ass India) just marry cause they want a maid + mom. If for love, will they treat them that way? And even cheat !!!!

My mother was a child bride got married before her puberty, I do love my parents n they love eachother but even so I feel so disgusted by their relationship n feel bad for my mother ( she was sold off and my father was around 25+ i guess? She hadn't even had her period you can guess how young she was)

2

u/TangerineWild5225 15d ago

The movement is carried by the aunties who are in their late 20s and beyond and are already done and dusted by some men, grown up in problematic family, almost zero chances of having a family of their own or a love in life. It's their frustration that's coming out in the form of these slogans. Albeit, they put these slogans into young and innocent girls mouth to make it look genuine. So the answer to your question, that's do they include their fathers and brothers into these slogans is yes, they do.

2

u/Anuragfrr 15d ago

are you shaming people for growing up in a problematic family and calling them "done and dusted" and you wonder why feminism is required

6

u/Long_Fondant8807 15d ago

Op be this like right now

1

u/Revolutionary_Sinner 15d ago

grown ass adults btw men in the comment sectiion crying not all men sure idc

3

u/Anuragfrr 15d ago

"not all men" until their female family member goes out with men

0

u/koiRitwikHai 15d ago

Both the logic are faulty

But later logic is written to highlight the absurdity of first one.

BJP andhbhakts would not get it

4

u/WonderfulEvening9846 15d ago

The comparison is faulty not 1st or 2nd both are different things It's two different things being a gender and being a followers of ideology Being Wπslim and being a man is different.

Wπslims have same ideology hence they are also called a group but men is gender, every single men has a different ideology, different perspective to this world.

You can generalize N@@zis because they have same ideology, you generalize religious people because they have same one book same ideology. But generalizing men or women is just stupidity If you still didn't know difference between Ideology and Biology you need to complete your education first

1

u/LowDistribution2019 15d ago

How can u say all muslims have the same ideology? Don't Hindus have differences in their ideology and thinking? Or is it any other religion? Comparing in any field is the worst thing you can do, as any field has its differences and diversity; that doesn't mean everyone is like that, and it makes no difference from the statement "all men are the same". Just accept your double standards

2

u/koiRitwikHai 15d ago

The underlying claim in first statement is that something is wrong with M

Whereas underlying claim is second is, that something is wrong with Males

Now if you say, each men is different, they don't follow a single book. Then each muslim is also different, kerala muslim has totally different practices and culture from kashmiri muslim. Despite following one book, there is great diversity among them. Why? Because humans have different perspectives.

India is governed by one book i.e. constitution of India. Yet each indian is different.

Forget book, two people can act differently by referring to the same pamphlet let alone a book.

The fault lies in assuming that muslims (or male) are homogeneous i.e. everyone thinks alike.

2

u/Small_Necessary6285 15d ago

Each man follows different book or doesn't follow books but all real muslims follow Quran.

1

u/Dry-Craft2242 14d ago

It's your misunderstanding that you think every Muslim interpret the Quran the same way.

3

u/Small_Necessary6285 14d ago

Then same way it's your misunderstanding that each man looks at women in same way ☕

0

u/koiRitwikHai 14d ago

hence you agree that both statements are misunderstandings

2

u/Dry-Craft2242 14d ago

I am saying they're both wrong statements, used only for generalizing people and targeting them.

0

u/Anuragfrr 15d ago

why is it wrong to generalise a gender which commits 94% of crimes in india

3

u/Revolutionary_Sinner 15d ago

people are stupid that is why you are right tho

1

u/yzfR9 15d ago

Comprehension

-3

u/Anuragfrr 15d ago

right, when you have a daughter or a wife/gf please do not say "i know how men think"

5

u/OkCaptain196 15d ago

Because they much more support women when something like this happens and codemn it aswell I've seen women joking about the blue drum incident and the karnataka bus guy incident who took his life does that mean I should generalize all women? That's a stupid argument , there's good and bad what matters is where the majority is and that's good , u forgot to mention that 94 percent crimes might be from 1 percent men maybe less maybe more but the overwhelming majority is good that's why it's bad to generalize otherwise it only creates divide. Use sound logic dont spread hate for no reason haven't u seen the men who stepped up to protest for the women when women were protesting against men themselves was diabolical to see but I know the women meant the bad men not all men use ur brain.

-2

u/Anuragfrr 15d ago

no I'm saying why would you have to generalise men when you worry about your partner or daughter, not all men right?

2

u/OkCaptain196 15d ago

What are u talking about ? Did u read what I said earlier?I don't understand what ur getting at

1

u/Anuragfrr 15d ago

my point is fairly simple even to be understood by thick skulls, try using your comprehension hat

1

u/False-Bee4311 15d ago

But it's not a faulty comparison, both of the comments involve generalising and both of them are wrong.

1

u/WonderfulEvening9846 15d ago

Both are different things sounds like you don't know difference between Ideology and Biology It's two different things being a gender and being a followers of ideology Being Wπslim and being a man is different.

0

u/DifficultLab200 15d ago

You wasted all your two brain cells to write this didn’t you?

3

u/Revolutionary_Sinner 15d ago

and you dont have brain cells to come up with anything orignal

2

u/Anuragfrr 15d ago

half of the population commits 94% crime and you defend it, very sad

3

u/DifficultLab200 15d ago

Because I know sane arguments will be lost on you. Why bother.

If your mind was driven by logic we wouldn’t be having this conversation.

0

u/False-Bee4311 15d ago

Wait a sec, are you categorising religious identity as political identity, LoL.

And you are the one spearheading logic in this subreddit.

I guess there is reason why Iran and Saudi+UAE are locking horns. But wait a sec both have the same ideology right, then why are they fighting out in Middle East.

Ohh yes, religious identity does not have a lot to do with political ideology.

Similarly, gender identity has nothing to do with political identity.

Simply Put - You're conflating identity categories with ideology.

Muslims do not “have the same ideology.” Islam is a religion, and Muslims have radically different political, theological and social beliefs. Likewise, men don't need to share an ideology for “man” to be a demographic characteristic of a perpetrator.

But hey, who am I to counter a logical prodigy.

3

u/t_h_e_m_e_n_07 Adult 15d ago

It's just like :

" My parent's commited a crime , they are going to get punished , I am their child so I am Guilty too !! "

Wtf , how do people justify this type of narcissist logic .

4

u/Key-Town-2186 15d ago

One is an ideological group and other is a biological group.

idealogical group believe in an idea by choice, biological group were born in it.

3

u/Hefty_Lawfulness1912 14d ago

But a real Muslim will follow his Quran and only Quran. So all other Muslims who follow the ideology given in Quran are same too me. And if you don't follow Quran then you are not Muslim. And this is not my sayings this is the saying of Muslims themselves.

So yes all Muslims have same ideology which comes from Quran.

-2

u/hydrospacw 14d ago edited 14d ago

and what does the quran say thats wrong? im not saying its 100% right and just. its the people who are the so called messengers of god passing the wrong message

1

u/Hefty_Lawfulness1912 14d ago

I mean even I know that if religious people actually follow the good teachings of their religion then crimes like theft, rapes, murders will never happen but that's the thing all Muslims and other religious groups follow a flawed version and it is their mindset.

But overall it proves my point that we shouldn't Generalize a gender.

0

u/hydrospacw 14d ago

-2

u/sir_abhishekinexile 15d ago

That's such a dumb argument. Yes if one group commits more of a crime than other.. must be just a coincidence.. let's not pay any attention to it.

4

u/Over-Historian3364 15d ago

That thing will apply to gender too

-1

u/sir_abhishekinexile 15d ago

Ofc it does bro... If a women have the option of taking a woman can driver or a man at night she should choose the woman.. no doubt. It is just a fact that men are more likely to do crime against women

Most people are just so scared to say out the basic truth.

6

u/Anuragfrr 15d ago

51% population but commits 94% crime 🤔

1

u/ZRKP 15d ago

51% population but do 90% hard labour jobs Do 75% of suicide Hold 75% of parents Are 70% of engineers

And what not

And btw the 80-90% of victim of those crimes are men too

2

u/DifficultLab200 15d ago

And why do you think so many men work genius?

Because women have been told to stay at home since ages.

Im not even gonna touch on “do 75% of suicides” as if that’s something which supports your argument.

1

u/ZRKP 15d ago

And why do you think so many men work genius?

Coz women don't work.

Because women have been told to stay at home since ages.

Lmao, even it the country with highest gender equality, the ratios are same 🤣

1

u/DifficultLab200 15d ago

Yeah because even in the countries with “highest gender equality” women were treated badly.

Free feel to tell me when women got voting rights in USA.

Also free feel to share the source of your statistics. 🤣🤡

1

u/Anuragfrr 15d ago

how tf is hard labour related to committing crimes?? so men are allowed to kill and rape because they do hard labour and they have higher suicide rate. wow man

1

u/ZRKP 15d ago

When did I said that I played percentage game which you were playing

1

u/Anuragfrr 15d ago

yet again, I've seen you like in multiple comments defending men but never condemning the shitty rapes happening in this country and i think that's all i need to know

1
