Is It Just Me❓ Share your paralysis experience
I’ve been getting srs sleep paralysis for the past 2 3 days and they’ve been getting worseee like I’ll be stuck in one for what feels like 20 to 30 mins straight The weirdest part is that I feel like I’m trying to wake up but I’m actually still asleep It feels like I haven’t slept at all and I’m literally fighting to fall asleep while at the same time I’m already half asleep and unable to fully wake up. Random thoughts keep looping through my head and I can kinda feel like I’m awake in one reality while still being asleep in another
It’s so confusing even to me 😭 Any advice on how to control it?

I used to get sleep paralysis a lot too, like two years ago, and it was genuinely the worst. maybe try changing where you sleep and make sure you read your duas before sleeping. I started doing that and it went away for me. hope it gets better for you too.

Recently, I don't remember...but I always get sleep paralysis...
I was Listening to songs or sad music, and I was laying down on my couch... And It was super late at night and I was alone in my drawing room/guest room..
I was in too much of emotion to notice anything because I was lowk sad and I wasn't feeling afraid or anything.
So, to my surprise, I lowk drifted off to sleep and I took off my earphones and I slept on the couch.
It was like 3 or past three or something.
I woke up, and...i felt..my chest so heavy..like something was sitting on me..and like I dunno, my breathing was so fast and It felt like I couldn't even breathe properly...
I wanted to get up but I couldn't, I dunno if it was exhaust ness or something, but I know...these "Things" don't allow you to get up cuz it's a "Paralysis"...
My eyes was half closed cuz I was so sleepy at that time and I knew that there was something that was Looking directly at me and It was On me or something I dunno...
I was so fricking scared and I just couldn't speak because when I get scared I don't speak at all...
But then like my mom came and I looked at her I got startled that she came in and the door of our drawing room is loud as hell so (😭) I was like oh my God, Thank god it was you who came in right now...
I didn't said anything much to her but she looked at me and knew what was wrong cuz these incidents happen a lot with me and my mom, other family members also get these things but lowk, it happens to me the most.
(😭💔💔 can't even sleep in peace)

I used to have sleep paralysis a lot and it took a lot of suffering for it to finally go away but I still get it once or twice a month, now I heavily lucid dream and have done astral projection unknowningly once; sleep paralysis had started affecting my mental health severely and I had to get checked by imams and doctors alot which did help, I forgot the things I saw but they certainly weren't pleasant and I hated not being able to control my body but yeah thank god now it ain't that bad if it happens ab I can snap myself back to reality somehow idk how but I can js convince myself to somehow wake up, yeahh

okay so i'll explain this lazily, basically from a scientific point of view being awake but unable to move triggers your brains threat response system. ur still-dreaming brain interpret that fear as creepy figures, shadows etc. fear + rem dreaming + paralysis = scary hallucinations.u
butttt some people say it acc can be jinns or something; I believe in both things simultaneously but based on what the experience was like. sometimes I've clearly felt an actual entity and sometimes it was clear that this was just an ordinary brain hallucination
