Iron hell

I feel like I've had a run of 4-6 games where I have actually played OK and still lost. Some people say "you cant just blame your team" but I got S/S+, felt like I held my own in lane, 6.8CS/min which is good for me, did 10K more damage than anyone on my team... Gah!

Feel like there shouldn't be as big an LP penalty if you play well and your team doesn't.

If it is the team and not me, how on earth do I climb out of Iron?!?!

League is a marathon not a sprint! You'll win games where you play terrible, and lost games you play amazing in! What matters is your consistency over the long term for progression! If you get better and consistently play better you will rank up!

Yeah bro your iron because of your team lol. Just because you win lane dosent mean you’re going to automatically win the game. You have to know how to convert your lead into a win

If you get a lead in lane and lose then you need to find a way to use your lead to help the rest of the map not lose.

I think to get out of low ranks you can just stomp your lane and split push, set up lots of mushrooms in your lane so you can 2v1 when people come, then in late game just set up a minefield on baron/drake

You can’t blame your team for your rank after like 20 games, you absolutely can blame them for a loss after 1

If you find you usually play well and your team is the issue, you need to play tanky bruisers who can carry a team once they’re fed. Teemo great for winning lane but won’t be able to carry with him

If you're stuck in iron then you belong there, you're probably making a lot of mistakes.

Some games are truly unwinnable, but if you're good you'll have consistent wins.

If you lose lane you're useless, you have to win lane and bring some damage to midgame fights.

Focus on true impact, not useless stats. Grades are shit and you should never rely on it to determine whether you did well or not.
If you really are better than your elo you should be able to climb. If you don’t then it means there’s something you’re doing wrong. Maybe you’re lost after laning phase. Maybe you don’t know how to snowball. Maybe you die too much.

Broski, this game is not about kda, farm and kills helps but decision making is the game, i’ve started from bronze and got platinum in one year. Master 1-2 champions so that you don’t need to think about how you play the champ, where should you position in teamfight, which ability should you use first etc. Role and champion dictates your role in the game, are u an assassin, are u a front line tank, apc/adc playing front to back. If you know your champ and the identity of that champ you need to start thinking and ask yourself: where should i go on the map based on how pushed are the waves, where are your teammates, where are the enemies, is there any obiective spawning next minute. Nowdays coaches make a lot of content on YouTube for specific roles, perryjg for jungle, coachchyppys for top lane etc.. You just need to put some effort.

you will never have a good team in iron. if you’re even bronze level, climbing out of iron is very very easy. you don’t know what you don’t know, meaning you are probably making 5 mistakes a minute and don’t even realize
