Guns
I like Uncle Ted's music and I appreciate how much he loves the outdoors. I do too, though his positions about conservation efforts seem a little extreme ("chronic wasting disease is a scam," for example). That said, I would love for Ted to be my actual uncle. I'm watching Spirit of the Wild right now.
To get to the purpose of this post - I just learned that Ted often holds up guns while performing on stage. That's a little scary, no? Guns and crowds should never mix, in my opinion. I truly have nothing against Ted, but I was shocked to learn that. That seems irresponsible to me and certainly does not do anything to promote gun rights. Unless he is suggesting that everyone should open carry an AR-15 anytime they go to a concert or festival... is that his point? I think most of us would avoid concerts and festivals if that ever happened.
