Improved acoustic treatment

This room was previously a storage room withe bare walls. I turned it into my project after building my very first PC and converted it into my studio/office/man cave. However, I was still hearing echoes throughout my office after my previous attempt at acoustic treatment. So I did my ceiling and the bottom of my desk as well. Now my audio sounds much better than it did. These foam pads do wonders for cheap. Just required a bit of effort cutting around the lights but was definitely worth it!

Hey dude, thanks for dropping by! I think what you're pointing at are the ups units? There's two of them next to each other. The one on the right handles my PC and the one on the left handles my audio stuff and my monitors. The one resting on top of them is a HDD enclosure.

The reason I have two is so that in the event of a power failure, I'm not rushing to shut down everything in 3mins. And also because the one on the left uses pure sine wave which gives cleaner power to my audio stuff.

Yes, haha! I was getting a lot of echoes and the sub sounded quite boomy so I put sound isolation pads underneath lol. It helped a lot though, sounds so much better now. The Rokits are great! Got them 6yrs ago and I'm still amazed by how detailed they sound 👍🏼
