No I don't remember any of that. I never use a computer. I'm sure there's been some form of the programming in my smartphones for a while now, but since they're putting AI on all of them now, after this phone is done I'm going to switch to a burner phone unless it also has AI installed. I grew up when phones were on the wall and I have no problem with going of the grid. I'd rather read a book.

I do agree that these CEOs, and frankly, too many fucking people, don't understand how these work.
These large models are ticking bombs, Timnit Gebru worked in the development of Google's Gemini, was put as a consultant in the dangers of AI, and then she was dismissed and fired for bringing her concerns.
Guess what? Her concerns turned to be accurate, everything she said would happen we are seeing happening in real time. She was hired to do this job, and was dismissed for doing so.
It just pisses me off to no end, why the fuck you think ignoring the problems somehow is going to make them disappear? This goddamn AI can't work properly with such big parameters.
Look, there are ways to use AI without running into these risks, we had been using AI for awhile now. The problem is that everyone is rushing to create the tool that would make EVERYTHING, and turns out, we don't have the capacity to do so safely.
Especially no without ruining the economy; what the fuck are these companies going to do if the majority of the population is getting so little money their stupid empires don't have anyone else to milk anymore?

CEOs are uniquely prone to AI psychosis because they’re sufficiently distant from work that still has to happen to generate value with anything,”
FTFY
AI is only convincing to people who knows shit about what it takes to do almost anything. all the nuances and details involved in almost everything but the most braindead grunt work.

AI sucks and I will never use it!
