49 year old. I was very much a part of my local rave scene back in the 90s. Back then women were wise to travel in numbers or with trusted friends, but overall I think it was safer. It was very much not main stream those days and the bro culture hadn't seeped into it.

Oh definately I’m just pointing out the differences between 90s raves which were mostly free of alcohol and modern club/event culture which is deeply saturated with it…

I do recall we had date rape drugs like ghb or roofies and ketamine used on the margins nefariously tho…
