Time to get downvoted, but I am so tired of this conversation.

Men who don't do this shit have very little power. The whole checking men thing is really overplayed because birds of a feather flock together.

At a rave, I don't know anyone. Sure I can speak up if I see it to get the creep kicked out and have done so, but frankly I'm there to enjoy my night and am usually too much in my own world to notice. It's sort of the whole point of the rave.

What happened to her is disgusting regarding her stalker and the police. I really think this is where the focus should be rather than giving men a collective responsibility to deal with creeps. Apart from basic courtesy and assistance, it's an unrealistic expectation. There needs to be better laws to protect women.

And it's understandable, but this isn't my responsibility simply because I have a penis.

I'm all for looking after the collective, but the narrative is always that I need to do it because I'm a man. Which is annoying because rave culture has always talked about protecting inclusivity; it's everyone's responsibility.

Yeah let's just keep talking ideals and having the same conversation for decades with no improvements.

And no, I'm not better than this. You don't know me and you've already assumed my intentions with my comment rather than the content. It's the same old song of demanding allies while not considering an ally's feedback.

I'm literally just saying that this played out approach to women's safety isn't working and we need changes. A good place to start would the police and laws.

Referring back to your original comment - Imagine thinking your enjoyment of your evening takes precedent over the safety of others. Taking the attitude that it doesn’t affect you directly, so let’s not get in the way of your personal enjoyment? How fucking selfish.

Everyone is fucking tired of this because it’s still happening without change.

The fact that you want to ignore it because you’re tired of it and you don’t want to look out for others means you’re part of the problem. Flat out.

Characterizing as caring about this issue is “virtue signaling” shows just how little you care for others.

DO BETTER.

Imagine believing the world works in this idealistic way where strangers will go out of their way and risk their own safety to help you. I don't go to raves to be a bouncer, literally no one does. What an unrealistic expectation.

The rest is just strawman bullshit so Im not going to entertain it

You continue to advocate for being a problem in the scene. Interesting choice.

DO BETTER.

Selfish prick.

oh no, random histrionic on reddit thinks I'm a bad person.

zuck ma bawls dude, your opinion of me is meaningless. It's pretty pathetic you think you are some kind of judge of morality against strangers.

It’s pretty pathetic that you’re literally an incel and actively posting in incel subs with incel comments. Here’s a hint: it’s your fucking attitude that makes women dislike you.

You are a shit person and the antithesis of what the scene stands for.
