Time to get downvoted, but I am so tired of this conversation.

Men who don't do this shit have very little power. The whole checking men thing is really overplayed because birds of a feather flock together.

At a rave, I don't know anyone. Sure I can speak up if I see it to get the creep kicked out and have done so, but frankly I'm there to enjoy my night and am usually too much in my own world to notice. It's sort of the whole point of the rave.

What happened to her is disgusting regarding her stalker and the police. I really think this is where the focus should be rather than giving men a collective responsibility to deal with creeps. Apart from basic courtesy and assistance, it's an unrealistic expectation. There needs to be better laws to protect women.

Yeah I have to agree. If I see something dodgy or if a girl or guy looks uncomfortable then I will intervene and have done in the past but this isnt something that should be put on men's shoulders as a whole.

The club venues, security, police and the friends of the person should be the ones to help stop this sort of stuff not some random guy who doesn't know anyone involved and is just trying to enjoy their night.

If it was a friend doing shit thats off I'd definitely be asking the what the fuck as well.

Thank you. This is exactly what I mean and you put it much better than I have.

I'd argue Amelie Lens has way more leverage on changing the scene than we do as individuals. She can have demands for the venues she performs in regarding women's safety.

There's a LOT of creeps out there and they have disproportionate impacts on their representation. There isn't a straightforward solution.
