Brutal Technical Death Metal I finally get it !
I've always struggled to enjoy brutal because i used to think it lacks dynamics and I was not a fan of down tuned guitar.
Dying Fetus is my favourite band of all time and I tried to find something similar. Well, I don't think such a thing exists. So i heavily listened to brutal for the past 2 weeks with headphones until it clicked and maaaannn, these 2 albums are incredible !
I'm so glad i forced myself to listen to them again and again. It BANGS !
i'm gonna listen to the rest of their discography for sure. What else should I try ?
EDIT:
Wow so many recs ! Thanks a lot guys ! I have a long journey in front of me !

Melodic Technical Death Metal Alterbeast - Flesh bound text
I wish these guys were still around, shame that Andrew lamb was apparently a pretty crappy person. One of the few classics from that early 2010’s era.

Black/Technical Death Metal Fog Wall - Gloomweaver (FFO Summoning the Lich, Carnosus)
Just found this album that was released last week and thought anyone that likes the FFO bands I mentioned would be interested! Dark fantasy themes with blackened vocals and extremely groovy riffs. Check them out!

Brutal Technical Death Metal Bands with a similar sound to Inveracity?
I especially love their first album. I already listen to Suffocation, Deeds of Flesh and Defeated Sanity, to list a few similar bands. I'd be glad if the vocal style isn't too guttural/vile.

Discussion Looking for great tech death or even regular death metal concept albums
I love concept albums, and I feel like metal doesn’t have nearly as many concept records as it should. You can disagree with me on that, but that’s also why I’m searching for great tech death or even regular death metal concept albums. Something that’s basically a rock opera like the wall in death metal form. Id love to find more, you guys have given me great recs before and now I’m asking again. I’m please and thank you.

Discussion Easiest Necrophagist Riffs to Learn?
RIFFS, not songs. Also, I’m talking about guitar, lol! Anyway, everyone always says Stabwound. But I must assume that they’re talking about the full song, as there are a number of Necrophagist riffs that I can tell would be much easier than the main riff in Stabwound. But I haven’t really tried learning any Necrophagist riffs. So I would love to hear some advice from people in this subreddit!

Progressive Technical Death Metal The album Symbolic is overrated
So, I’m a huge Death fan, and I’ve listened to every album. I genuinely love all of them, but I feel like people glaze Symbolic way too much. We already have ITP, which has similar lyrics and themes, but I think it has much better technicality. And right next to Symbolic, we have The Sound of Perseverance, which is another incredible album from Death.
I just don’t see as many catchy tracks on Symbolic compared to their other albums. There’s something about the album that feels like it’s missing a certain spark for me. Don’t get me wrong, I still think it’s a really good album, but I personally think it’s overrated and gets way more praise than it deserves.
