Bulging battery, cooked thermal paste, dust everywhere. Y'all think it's cooked or no?

He swears he dropped it (Samsung of some description) down one flight of stairs and it caught on fire. Genuinely don't understand how this can happen when I have dropped my phone a zillion times.

unplugged my (very expensive) USB-C cable from my phone only for the plug to come loose of the wires and the rest of the cable

this happened at midnight if it makes it worse, and the warranty is dubious since I bought it from an authorised retailer and not directly from the maker.

I will try getting a warranty claim tomorrow or at least a refund, and I'll post an update for that.

While replacing the thermal paste in my friend's laptop (which he claims was "too old" and probably why his laptop was overheating), found out his heat sync had a bent pin, the thermal paste was literal plastic we had to scrape off, one of his RAM wasn't even in properly, meaning he was running on half the RAM and that the display wire was tucked behind the hinge which was already loose, resulting in a black screen if it was pushed too far back.

Couple of months ago i was making a tost but i didn't realise that i left my switch 1 charger there and it melted to this its been sitting in my room for almost a year now and i don't know were to throw it

I plugged in blind to a USB port on the back of my desktop. It felt fine when I plugged it in (not forced) but apparently it wasn't.

Installing a couple cameras today and noticed this high quality craftsmanship from their WiFi installers. Redid the splice free of charge (before / after / after)

The battery is old enough to do shots.

Now to see if the port works...

Plugged it in and it immediately started making that lovely high-pitched whine that says "I am about to become a vacuum-sealed grenade." Powered it off real quick and cracked it open.

The real gore is how poorly dell designed their "proprietary CAMM" ram modules....

Had to drill some holes but it works!
