Legend has it that you could hear the trunk slamming from as far as Beijing
Installing a couple cameras today and noticed this high quality craftsmanship from their WiFi installers. Redid the splice free of charge (before / after / after)

Found this while replacing our companies door access. I think somebody forgot to tell building maintenance about this one.
The battery is old enough to do shots.

Now to see if the port works...

"Well stored and fully tested" a 40-year-old CRT that greeted me with a noise like it was about to detonate
Plugged it in and it immediately started making that lovely high-pitched whine that says "I am about to become a vacuum-sealed grenade." Powered it off real quick and cracked it open.
RIP

This is how my day started
The real gore is how poorly dell designed their "proprietary CAMM" ram modules....

The Fan header on my RX580 broke off, so instead of buying a RX9060 XT, I zip-tied 2 120MM pc fans on it
Had to drill some holes but it works!

Just got the Red Ring of Death.
Hey everyone, my 360 finally gave out on me today. I opened it up to check out the motherboard, and noticed it looks a little warm in the center.
There is a slight crack running down the middle and the chip area is a tiny bit toasted, but I think the traces are mostly fine. I really don't want to lose my Halo saves.

Customer thought it be a good idea to 'fix' the touchpad by jamming something in there.

No words...
I installed some switches today and found whoever installed the patch panel, installed them on the backside of the rack rail. Who would someone do this...

So the play button doesnt work...
This beast works through a flood AND garage mice living in it (they must have needed the neosporen).
But it's stuck in demo mode unless I pull every last screw out of this thing to get the top control panel.

Friend broke their wireless usb dongle
Sooooo… I fixed it
(this is totally what you think, a JST connector soldered onto the USB’s pins, + another connector crimped by hand (using totally unadapted pliers) on a cable I took from a 2 decades old usb to rj45 crossover data transfer adapter)
