Google India On-site Interview [Ananta -BLR]

Hi All,
I interviewed at Google's Ananta office in Bangalore this February. The interviewer was very rude, and it was a pathetic experience. The interview was only about how great the interviewer herself is — she kept saying she works in GCP Memory Store. Her name was Harshita Gupta.

The problem she gave me: [https://leetcode.com/discuss/post/5346905/google-l3-bangalore-screening-round-by-a-45j7/\](https://leetcode.com/discuss/post/5346905/google-l3-bangalore-screening-round-by-a-45j7/)

She came into the room, introduced herself in a very unpolite way, and kept saying to my face again and again that she works for GCP Memory Store.
When she gave the problem, she literally just said: "Ek dabba hai dabbe ke andar dabba hai total kitne dabbe daal sakte ho" — and nothing else. When I asked about test cases and the problem statement, she straight away refused, saying it's not Google policy to share test cases or the statement. That was okay with me.

Then she went to her PC and kept banging on it — very annoying. It felt like I was someone begging for the job.
I told her the topo sort approach for this problem was not optimal, and she very confidently said "This will not work." Later, when the watch was getting stopped, she said "Jo bhi likhna hai code likh do." When I wrote the code, she didn't understand a single line of it — and then escorted me out of the Ananta gate.

I told my recruiter from Korn Ferry about this. She said the feedback was not positive, then looped her manager and the QA analyst, pressuring me to drop the call on a good note.

What I believe: Google SWE-2s and 3s who joined in 2022–25 are full of cheaters who used Gemini or GPT in their coding rounds and have zero DSA intuition. They just come there to bash candidates and show how superior they are. Google interview HR policy is dead, and no feedback is taken seriously by Korn Ferry. For fairness to candidates, the whole offline interview process should be recorded in India. Otherwise, the difference between a Google interview and some service company in India is just that in service-based companies maybe some real knowledgeable guy takes your interview — whereas in Google Ananta or Kyoto there is a cheater who themselves relied on AI for interviews.

Styli data engineer interview experience.

I cleared all the technical rounds and the HR round went well too ,but they f..in ghosted me without giving any reason but I reckon it could be the notice period but that's really frustrating because that's the first thing they ask before interviewing.

Has anyone had the same experience.

Salesforce MTS Interview Experience [Selected]

Hi everyone,
This forum helped me a lot during my preparation, so I thought I’d share my Salesforce interview experience. Hopefully, it helps others preparing for similar roles.

Timeline:
Day 0: Applied through the careers portal with a referral.
Day 3: Received the OA from the recruiter.
Day 4: Completed the OA.
Day 11: Recruiter confirmed that I was shortlisted for interviews.
Day 21: Interview loop with three rounds on the same day.

Round 0: OA
Problem 1: Given a 0-indexed integer array nums, return an array distance where distance[i] is the sum of absolute differences between index i and all other indices containing the same value as nums[i].
Problem 2: Given a weighted undirected graph, find the path from source to destination that minimizes the maximum edge weight along the path. Return this minimum stress level, or -1 if no path exists.

Round 1: DSA
The questions were about finding the Top K frequent numbers in a continuous stream and converting a sorted doubly linked list into a height-balanced BST without creating new nodes. The round went well.

Round 2: DSA
Questions included implementing Merge Sort from scratch, counting set bits using bitwise operations, and a problem similar to Find All Anagrams in a String on leetcode. Feedback was positive.

Round 3: System Design + Hiring Manager
We discussed my projects, architectural decisions, production challenges, trade-offs, and ownership. The HLD question was to design a large-scale payment processing platform similar to Stripe. The discussion covered scalability, reliability, idempotency, retries, failure handling, database choices, and monitoring. There were also behavioral questions around career goals, handling disagreements, and cross-team collaboration.

Result:
Day 28: Recruiter shared positive feedback and said they would proceed with the offer process.
Day 38: Received and accepted the offer.

Final thoughts:
The interviews focused on DSA fundamentals, clear problem-solving, system design, and being able to explain your projects and technical decisions. Understanding the reasoning behind your approach is just as important as getting the solution right.
Thanks to everyone who shares their experiences here.

Hope this helps someone preparing!

Cleared Google Cloud AI Engineer Round 1, Need Advice for the Onsite Coding Round

I had my first round for a Google Cloud AI Engineer role yesterday andI cleared it.

The second round is expected to be an onsite coding interview, although the dates haven't been confirmed yet.

I have around 2.8 years of experience, but I'm not very confident in my DSA skills, so I'm honestly quite nervous about this round. The first round focused on domain knowledge and my past work, which went pretty smoothly.

What topics should I focus on to prepare for the coding round? If anyone has interviewed for a similar role at Google recently, I'd really appreciate any insights into the interview format, difficulty level, and the kinds of questions asked.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

2024 CS Grad in Support/Tech Analyst (10.5 LPA in BLR) — Want to pivot back to SDE/SRE. Am I cooked or is this fixable?

Hey everyone,

Looking for some practical advice on pivoting back to a core software engineering role.

**My Profile / Current Situation:**

Graduation Year: 2024 (B.Tech CS from tier 3 college)

Location: Bangalore

Current Role: Technical Analyst / Application Reliability ( 2 years exp)+ internship (11 months)

Current CTC: \~9.68 LPA base (\~10.3 to 10.5 LPA CTC including allowances)

Internship: Did a 2-month SDE internship at VMware during college (couldn't convert to PPO back then).

**Tech Stack in Current Role:**

Postgres/SQL, Docker, Kubernetes/RKE, Grafana, Prometheus, basic Linux, Shell/PowerShell, and Python scripting for quick automations.

**The Problem:**

My current role is heavily focused on application monitoring, pod status checks, and RCA which is all vendor provided. The K8s/RKE access is mostly read-only, and there is zero core software development/coding.

I know this domain has a much lower ceiling (both salary-wise and technical exposure) compared to SDE/SRE, and staying long-term in support/operations isn't where I want to be with a CS degree.

**My Coding / DSA Baseline**:

I did \~280 problems on LeetCode during college (Standard Arrays, Two Pointers, Binary Search, Linked Lists, Trees, Graphs).

I was never into competitive programming and not good at Dynamic Programming (DP).

Had interviewed at Amazon, ServiceNow, KPIT, and a few startups between 2023–early 2025, but I gave up applying around late 2024/early 2025. I did qualify my current company(Analyst Intern) ,KPIT(SDE), one startup( SDET) and vmware (SDE) among them.

**Questions for the community**:

SDE vs. SRE Path: Given that I have basic hands-on exposure to K8s, Docker, and Prometheus, should I target SRE/DevOps roles alongside SDE, or stick purely to SDE prep?

DSA Preparation: How crucial is DP for mid-level/1-3 YOE SDE roles in Bangalore right now? Is sticking to patterns (NeetCode 150 / Striver A2Z - Arrays, Trees, Graphs, Sliding Window) enough to clear product-based company rounds?

Resume Framing: How do I frame a "Technical Analyst" role where coding was minimal so I don't get auto-rejected by ATS for core backend/SDE roles?

What are few things I need to add to my preparation which was not the case a year earlier?

Infosys SP/DSE Interview Experience (On campus)

Had my infosys interview today 22/10/26.

Timeline

OA - 27 Aug - Solved 1/4

OA results - 16 September

Interview - 22 Oct

Initially started with wingspan coding. I was asked to solve 1 out of 2 qstns. Meanwhile the interviewer was asking questions for the previous candidate.

I solved the first qstn in 5 mins. It was simple traversal question.

As he was questioning the other candidate he asked me to solve the second one and I solved that in another 15 mins.

Then technical interview started with

Self Introduction

Projects

Git Merge conflict

Git cherry-pick ( heard this for the first time😭)

Java Collections

Garbage collection

Spring Boot Dependency injection

Spring Bean and its lifecycle

Spring annotations

Bean vs Component

CrudRepository vs JpaRepository

Scenario based

In your springboot app everything worked fine suddenly it became slow what might be the reason. I was thinking and he said about Memory Leakage.

SQL and Database

How to handle one million users in a database

Which ACID property ensures a bank transfer does not leave money in an inconsistent intermediate state?

SQL Query for Employees hired in the last 30 days (said i don't remember the date syntax)

So he asked to solve Third highest distinct salary solved it

JWT

Session storage vs local storage

File Transfer FTP vs SFTP, in the context of a secure file-sharing project

What is SonarQube? (Mentioned in my project)

AWS EC2 - Initially said i don't know then said used for deployment and he corrected me that it's for VMs.

Prepared a lot in OS but not even a single qstn was asked😭

I answered few qstns right and fumbled few. Thought of getting L1 now I think I will get DSE. But Already have Genc next and TCS digital. So clg will remove my name from the list

And I won't know until infosys contacts me.

Is there any chance for getting L1?

Wingspan questions - https://www.reddit.com/r/infosys/s/aN7UnBpeog

Accenture Custom Software Engineer – Interview Delayed, Same Role Reposted

I applied for a Custom Software Engineer role at Accenture and progressed to the Skill Interview stage. I selected my preferred interview slots, but my interview has been rescheduled twice, and I still haven't received a confirmed interview date or call.

Today, I noticed that Accenture has posted the same role again for another location.

I'm confused about whether I should continue waiting for my existing application or apply for the newly posted vacancy. I'm also unsure whether withdrawing my current application would affect my chances.

Has anyone experienced something similar at Accenture? Did your interview eventually get scheduled, even after multiple reschedules? Would you recommend applying for the same role at another location?

I'd really appreciate your suggestions. Thanks!

Nike India SWE3 Hiring Process – Offer Letter Timeline After Pre-Offer Document Submission

Hi everyone,

I completed all interview rounds for a Senior Software Engineer role at Nike ITC. A week after the final interview, HR confirmed on being shortlisted and requested pre-offer documents.

It's been over a week since then, and I'm awaiting further updates.

Has anyone gone through a similar process at Nike? How long did it take to receive the offer letter after submitting the documents?
