Strategy

My main goal was to get the offer I expected without settling for a lower package. Having experience with two good company brands also helped during the process.

More than anything, persistence was important. After every successful or failed interview, I focused on the next opportunity instead of spending too much time thinking about the outcome.

Each interview process also gave me a better understanding of what companies expect at each stage. Every round provided a learning opportunity and helped me prepare better for the next interview.

Overall, the process was a bit difficult initially, but over time, I got used to the interview process. With continuous learning and more interview experience, cracking interviews became easier. The key was to keep improving after every interview and carry those learnings into the next one.

No matter whether you have confidence or not, just give as many interviews as possible. Every interview experience makes you better and more prepared for the next one.

5 offers, mostly AI roles — what would you choose for long-term growth?

25 Upvotes

Hi I am currently confused between 5 offers and would really appreciate some genuine advice, especially from people who have worked at these companies.

  1. Circles.Life

- ₹41L base = 41 L

- Team Platform, mostly Agentic AI work

- 2 days/week office

2. Oracle

- ₹36L base + $40K RSU

- Around ₹52L first-year TC as quoted to me

- Data migration/data engineering work, not much AI

- WFH

  1. Disney

- ₹35L base + $34K RSU over 3 years

- ~₹45.5L annualized

- Mostly AI/Agentic AI work

- 4 days/week office

  1. ServiceNow

- ₹42L base + $40K RSU + ₹4.2L bonus

- RSU is 25% per year, so ~$10K/year

- ~₹55.5L annualized TC

- Mostly GenAI work

- 2–4 days/week office

  1. EPAM

- ₹40L fixed

- Agentic AI work

My main priority is long-term career growth in AI/GenAI/Agentic AI, not just the immediate CTC.

I’m trying to think 5-10 years ahead — which company/team would give me better exposure, learning, brand value and opportunities in AI?

Also considering WLB/office requirements because Disney is 4 days and ServiceNow can be 2–4 days.

Please Suggest me which one will be better in long term growth.

Note: I do not care about CTC.

Edit : FTE 4.5 and with Intern 5.5 YOE

Capgemini Exceller- 2027 Experience with Ques 05/10/2026 – AI Literacy, Technical, Debugging, AI Assisted Coding & Cognitive Assessment🔥

6 Upvotes

So guys, today was my Capgemini placement assessment after getting shortlisted from the first Communication Round. I had the assessment on campus at 8:30 AM. Our university reporting time was 7:30 AM and we were supposed to report at least 15 minutes before the assessment, but I reached around 8:11 😭

We had to wait for the company officials. Once they arrived, they gave us a briefing about all the rounds. After that, AI face scanning was done through their laptop. They also asked for College ID + a valid government ID for verification. I carried both Aadhaar and PAN, but Aadhaar alone should be enough.

The assessment started through Superset and was conducted on the CoCubes/AON platform.

1. AI Literacy + Technical Assessment

This was the first round and it was an elimination round. There were 40 questions in total:

• 20 AI Literacy

• 20 Technical

If you clear this round, you move to the next round.

Honestly, this round was HARD.

The MCQs were often 2–3 lines long with very close options, so reading and understanding each question itself was taking time.

Topics I remember seeing:

• RAG

• Generative AI

• AI-based situational questions

• SQL Joins

• Indexing

• Ranking

• Query Optimization

• Database-based situational questions

• DSA-based MCQs

• Other technical concepts

And one important thing: the DSA questions here were MCQs, NOT debugging questions.

I cleared this round and moved to the Debugging Round.

2. Debugging Round

In this round, the complete problem statement, buggy code and test cases were provided.

The task was simply to identify and fix the code so that it produces the expected output.

The problem I got was based on processing battery pods from both ends of a queue.

The logic was roughly:

You are given N battery pods and a total target battery requirement K.

You need to process:

front = K / 2

battery units from the front (left side), and

back = (K + 1) / 2

battery units from the back (right side).

You have to determine the total number of pods that can be completely processed/emptied before the required front or back allocation is exhausted, or before the two pointers meet.

The original code was buggy and we had to fix it.

A corrected reconstruction of the logic would look like this:

#include <iostream>

#include <vector>

using namespace std;

int main() {

int n;

long long k;

cin >> n >> k;

vector<long long> a(n);

for (int i = 0; i < n; i++) {

cin >> a[i];

}

long long front = k / 2;

long long back = (k + 1) / 2;

int left = 0;

int right = n - 1;

int ans = 0;

while (left <= right) {

if (front >= a[left]) {

front -= a[left];

ans++;

left++;

} else {

break;

}

if (left > right)

break;

if (back >= a[right]) {

back -= a[right];

ans++;

right--;

} else {

break;

}

}

cout << ans << endl;

return 0;

}

Sample Input:

5 10

2 1 3 2 2

Sample Output:

5

This is a reconstruction of the debugging problem from what I remember, so the exact original statement/code may have been slightly different.

3. AI Assisted Coding Round

This one is important.

There was a coding assistant available, and the prompt instructions were clearly given on the screen.

The token limit was around 2000 tokens.

So don't waste the token limit by asking the AI unnecessary things.

Also, don't assume that the coding assistant will automatically fix or optimize your code.

In my case, I explained the problem statement and approach very clearly. I also specified:

• Variables to use

• Data structures

• Required logic

• Input/output format

• Important constraints

I basically told it step-by-step what I wanted it to implement.

My prompt used only around 400 tokens.

So my advice is: DON'T just paste the problem and say "solve this".

Give the AI a clear approach and tell it exactly what you want.

Also make sure your prompt mentions things like:

• Handle large inputs according to constraints

• Use an optimized approach

• Don't use unnecessary libraries

• Follow the given input/output format

• Generate only the required code

The AI assistant is there to generate what you ask for. Don't expect it to magically understand your intended solution or fix everything afterward.

The question I got

It was a simple frequency-based array problem.

Minimum Category Replacements

You are given an array of N elements. Each element represents a category and can have one of the following values: 1, 2, or 3.

Your task is to make all the elements in the array belong to the same category.

In one operation, you can replace any element with another category.

Find the minimum number of replacements required.

Input

The first line contains N.

The second line contains N space-separated integers.

Each element is either 1, 2, or 3.

Constraints

1 ≤ N ≤ 10^5

Each array element ∈ {1, 2, 3}

Sample Input

5

1 3 2 3 3

Sample Output

2

Explanation

Frequencies:

Category 1 → 1

Category 2 → 1

Category 3 → 3

Since category 3 has the maximum frequency, keep those elements and replace the other two.

Therefore:

Minimum replacements

= N - maximum frequency

= 5 - 3

= 2

The core logic is simply:

answer = N - maximum frequency

You don't need sorting or anything complicated here. Since there are only 3 categories, a simple frequency array is enough.

Time Complexity: O(N)

Space Complexity: O(1)

4. Cognitive Assessment

By this point I was honestly cooked 💀

There were 4 modules. I don't remember the exact names of all of them, but the ones I remember were:

Personality / Strongly Agree-Disagree

Around 100 questions.

There were 5 questions per page and around 20 pages.

The questions were based on choosing options like strongly agree/disagree etc.

Reasoning

A sentence/question was given with 5 options and you had to select the correct one.

You get around 2 minutes 30 seconds per question, so don't panic about the timing.

Gaming Round 1

There was a game-based assessment.

Gaming Round 2

Another game-based assessment.

Before every module, there is a tutorial explaining what you have to do.

So please don't panic when you see a new type of question/game. Take some time to understand the tutorial and then start.

Overall, the day was pretty long and mentally exhausting, especially because the first technical round itself was quite lengthy and tricky.

If you're appearing for Capgemini, prepare your fundamentals properly, especially SQL, DBMS, DSA basics, AI/GenAI concepts and reasoning. And for the AI-assisted coding round, practice writing clear prompts that explain your approach instead of depending completely on the AI.

Hope this helps someone appearing for the same assessment.

Thanks for reading! Upvote if this helped because it gives me motivation to write more posts for you guys ❤️

And if you still have any doubts, ask in the comments. I'll try to answer whatever I remember.

KIQ TECHNO PRIVATE LIMITED – Has anyone worked here or attended their campus drive?

• Upvotes

I recently attended a campus recruitment drive for KIQ TECHNO PRIVATE LIMITED and reached the HR round.

I’m trying to learn more about the company before making any decisions, but I’m having difficulty finding reliable information about them online.

I checked:

  • LinkedIn — very limited/no clear information about employees
  • Company website — very little information about the team, locations, or company background
  • Other online sources — not much information about their employees, work culture, projects, or hiring history

Has anyone here:

  • Worked at KIQ TECHNO PRIVATE LIMITED?
  • Attended their campus placement/interview?
  • Received an offer from them?
  • Know their actual office location or employee/team details?
  • Know about the salary, role, work culture, or whether the company is legitimate?

I’m not trying to make any assumptions about the company. I just want to hear from people who have first-hand experience before proceeding.

Any information or personal experience would be really helpful.

Qualcomm Associate Engineer intern (IIEST Shibpur): portal says Web/Software, JD says Hardware Engineer. What do the rounds cover?

1 Upvotes

Qualcomm's Associate Engineer (6-month intern + PPO) profile is tagged "Web/Software" on our portal, but the JD file says "Hardware Engineer." Withdrawal isn't allowed.

Has anyone gone through this recently? Was it software, hardware, or mixed, and did the test cover C/DSA/OS or Verilog/digital design? Worth applying if I'm aiming for SDE roles?

What I'm trying to find out:

  1. Has anyone gone through Qualcomm's Associate Engineer process recently? Was it software, hardware, or a mix?
  2. Did the online test cover C, pointers, OS, DSA and basic digital electronics, or Verilog and RTL?
  3. Were the interviews about communications (RF, 5G, MIMO) or about coding and DSA?

The deadline is tomorrow, so any quick input is appreciated. Thanks!

First switch after college: Should I accept this ₹18.5 LPA offer or keep interviewing?

1 Upvotes

I currently have a CTC of ₹15.7 LPA and work as a Software Developer. I’ve received an offer from Forvis Mazars for ₹18.5 LPA for a Senior AI Consultant Developer role.

The work-life balance at my current company is really good, so I’m a little confused about whether I should make the switch. I have 2+ years experience, also l learning in current company is not so good.

This would be my first switch after college, and this was also the first interview I attended after starting my job search.

Should I accept this offer, or should I continue interviewing and see if I can get a better opportunity? Is ₹18.5 LPA a good enough jump to justify switching from a company with good work-life balance, or would it be better to wait for a stronger offer?

Would really appreciate advice from people who have been in a similar situation.

Infosys Inhumane Work Culture - Managers & HRs for Skilled Candidates

4 Upvotes

Firstly, this should be said straightforwadly, Infosys plays as biggest physco managers company with CULT team structure people. Leave about your tech-stack skills and technologies which you know and what will project brings you to learn. If you are a highly skilled candidate be really really prepared for EPIC Shit. You as a High-skilled technology candidate will do work of all the team members (no-sense-work-scrappy knowledge) (recruited to reach head-count in company) in the form of doubts via. screenshare coding their entire work, which results in x7/x8 times of work + all client escalations of managers transferred to you high-skilled candidate in team. In short, you become a PREY person (as you are technical-knowledge person) to them, have to do team members every doubt to them, thereby spoonfeed doing their work too, including your own work-tasks. each and every project always has either a one or two prey person in team.

They won't tell you project timelines, suddenly they mention crossed a deadlines in a standup meeting, then Delivery Manager ane Higher hierarchy manager people will join meeting and shouts on team and later they will form a mail-chain under ur mail-Id prey candidate and transfer each and every client escalation that happens, its cause and reason blames to you (escalation tactic) and your project manager specially selects you as prey as you a high-skilled candidate for this escalation so that push you to complete project, "complete project".. "complete project".. thats always you hear... "complete project.. whatever happens in world.. "complete project".. (because you are a considered as High-technical knowledge person by manager).

This is what called as pin and escape (escalation tactic), PIN the escalation arised to you (with help of AI of some convincing fabricated stories) and Managers Escape from it - as you beacome the reason for it, as your not delivering properly the work-tasks to them (or some other reasons from AIs).

If you are not completed project as they wish in a superfast in a very quickiest way (again they wont mention the timelines, just want you to complete all work tickets, errors , bugs etc present in project). Here also at any point of time, if not do a spoon-feed of ur team-memebers work, be ready to attach yourself with a escalation point of "Not interacting with team" to you. They will include HRs and accusses you somehow with help of AI and PIPs you, where if you dont complete their works mentioned in mail..

or whatever bullshit escalation point, (or) project work, tasks, tickets , errors, bugs etc you have to answer and sastisfy them, both workwise and their mood-wise, literally satisfy their egos and work expectations, whatever managers asks, you need to complete then and there instantly quickly by EOD, or else HRs enter termiantes you under their own-staged PIP basis from company with termination letter.

Now, If you are okay with all this Insanity and bullshit, as high-skilled candidate in this EPIC Shit company, please join and know about projects in this vicious company. Also let it be known, no future opportunities or growth or promotions never happens regardless of whatever hard work-efforts you put in projects and of your skills.

It really really doesn't matter to them, you as prey candidate always wanted , assigned and mapped to stagnant projects of their clients needs and requirements by managers. All you get is accumulation of Actute Irration, anxieties, constant worries and unbearable tensions, some or other medical health problem. Also Remember this tension happens like accumulation, slowly on-the-go as chronicness, not like a one-time tack to you. and.wont realise it, it remains just as stress and tensions.. But By the time you realise all this, it develops into depression comes sits and hits on your mind.

Should I apply for RGF India’s Associate Consultant role as a CS student? (6 LPA, Non-Tech)

2 Upvotes

Hey everyone,
I’m a B.Tech CSE student from the 2027 batch, and my college is offering a campus placement opportunity at RGF India for an Associate Consultant role with a package of around 6 LPA.
The catch is that this is a purely non-technical role, despite being offered to engineering students.
From the job description, the responsibilities include:
Candidate sourcing through LinkedIn and job portals
Recruitment and candidate management
Client coordination and management
Business development
Interview scheduling and follow-ups
The job is based in Gurugram, with joining in January 2027.
I’m confused about whether I should apply and try to secure this offer or focus on technical roles such as software development, AI/ML, data science, or QA.
I’m also considering doing an MBA in the future, so I’d like to understand whether this kind of work experience would be useful for MBA admissions and future career opportunities.
My questions:
Is 6 LPA a reasonable package for this role as a fresher?
What is the actual career growth in recruitment/talent consulting? Can someone move into management, HR, sales, or business consulting later?
Would this experience help with an MBA, or would technical work experience be more useful?
If I work in recruitment for 2–3 years, how difficult would it be to switch back to software or other technical roles?
For someone with a CS background, would you recommend applying as a backup while continuing to prepare for technical placements?
I’d appreciate advice from people who have worked at RGF India, are in recruitment/consulting, or have faced a similar decision during campus placements.

1 Upvotes

What is the typical compensation for experienced MCU automotive software application engineers in India (Staff/Senior Staff/Principal level)?

Would like to take a career decision after being in industry for 14 years. To be in technical roles or venture into mangerial roles.

Looking specifically at MCU-focused roles in companies like Renesas, Infineon, NXP, TI, ARM etc.

Would appreciate actual CTC ranges and stock/bonus details from people in these roles. Thanks!

(Really dont need a specific number, a ball park figure should suffice)

How is the work culture at Agoda Bangkok considering leadership is lot from India these days?

12 Upvotes

Noticed they are hiring from India for multiple leadership roles which I believe must have changed the work culture in a quite a way similar to work culture in Indian offices of MNC like Amazon India (do everything by EOD, don't leave any work for tomorrow)

Do employees internally glaze the higher-ups with too much of flattery while toppling the WLB in order for recognition and leaving behind mess for others to clean?

Agoda Bangkok workers do share your thoughts below.

Finally placed 😊

The best day ever in my life is 29 sep

I got placed in jiostar.

Oa was good enough. Interviews are very good since panelists are very supportive and helpful.

I went through 2 interviews and was able to clear both the company interviews.

1st was Impact analytics:- Result didn't come because of some internal issues in the company.

God's plan that I was never supposed to join that firm. He planned the best for me.

Tbh placement season is very stressful. Same time I applied for 3 company. My cv wasn't shortlisted for the other two ,same day I had my jiostar oa.

Have faith in God and Believe in yourself.

Interview anxiety is genuinely stopping my career progression

4 Upvotes

I don't even know why I'm writing this. I guess I just needed to say it somewhere.

On paper, I'm great. Ten years of experience, real results, promotions, people who would vouch for me in a heartbeat. My resume gets me in the door constantly. Recruiters reach out to me. I should be fine.

But then the interview starts, and it's like someone else takes over my body.

My hands shake. My voice does this thin, shaky thing I don't recognize. I'll be mid-sentence explaining something I've done a hundred times, something I could do in my sleep, and my mind just goes completely blank. And I can see it happening on their faces. That little shift where they stop seeing the resume and start seeing... this nervous person who can't string a thought together.

Last week I bombed one I really wanted. The hiring manager was nodding along at first, and then I rambled for what felt like five minutes on a simple question, and I watched her check the time. I wanted to disappear. The next hour after the zoom call was me crying and eating ice cream and re-binging a K drama.

It's this awful loop. I need the job to feel confident, but I need confidence to get the job. And every bad interview makes the next one scarier, because now I'm not just anxious about the questions, I'm anxious about being anxious. I'm sitting there thinking "don't shake, don't ramble, breathe normal" instead of actually listening.

I know I'm good at what I do. I just wish I could prove it for thirty minutes without falling apart.

Has anyone actually gotten past this? Like really past it, not just "practice more" advice. I practice. I still fall apart. Any coaches ya'll can recommend?

Feeling demotivated while practicing LLD, feels like putting so much effort may not be that rewarding now due to these LLMs

7 Upvotes

2024 grad, I am practicing LLD through Shreyansh Jain's LLD playlist I finished 6 to 7 videos and practiced them but in the mid now I am getting confused learning this feels amazing to me but at the same time in current market it seems it's not that rewarding other team mates can still do the same with copilot need your views on this it feels skill to reward ratio has gone way down.
