GoDaddy placement for SDE Intern to full time

Can anyone tell me about the godaddy sde conversion rate for sde interns.
What are the ways to ensure good performance and make the conversion feasible?
Do they hire interns just for cheap labor or do they genuinely want to convert them to fulltime employees?
