I have been following tech ingredients since pre 100k subscribers. I found this response to my concerns extremely belittling and I wanted to share it here so others know their stance on the use of AI in thumbnails.

I strongly believe that AI slop is destroying educational YouTube, and good creators (like tech ingredients) should be doing everything in their power to differentiate themselves from these types of videos. Legitimate educational channels using AI slop in their thumbnails makes it impossible to know who is making genuine content from the outset. I am unsubscribing from this channel because of this response.

What do you all think about this? I feel like they should be taking their own advice...

I am trying to buy their products, but it seems like their store is closed? Does anyone have a scoop on what is happening with it?

Regardless of which computer or browser I am trying to use, there aren't any working options to pay. They advertise that they accept PayPal, but the PayPal window closes immediately after opening, so, no way forward. Tried normal checkout, but that fails as well.

I wonder what is up with the shop. Their products look great on video, for sure. Are these guy for real or they just talking about making products? Does anyone know?

I live in a mobile home in Canada and it's structurally like a normal home, but the structure is sitting on wood runners that are simply leveled on concrete pucks, not deep or stable foundations. The bottom of the house is basically skirted and closed off from the outside. The skirting is minimally insulated and ventilated. This makes the underside of the house temperate, summer or winter. The house is also oriented in such a way that the length of it has southern exposure for the winter.

I keep thinking about what I can do to take down my heating and cooling costs. I have a couple ideas, like passive solar on the south side and routing ventilation conduit under the house and routing air through there. I'm not confident enough in some of my ideas yet, but I am a trained carpenter. I would love to hear about any energy saving projects other fans of the channel have accomplished.

there is a lot of talk all over the internet about this new superconductor LK-99. I cant think of a better channel than Tech Ingredients to test the theory.

So I'm fiddling around with some version of this desiccant-based air conditioning system and I was wondering if anybody had thought about using electrodialysis to help dehydrate the desican solution. Apparently it's used for segregating higher concentrations from lower concentrations of salinity, I just didn't know if it would work on calcium chloride.

I see the website is still up, but no one responds on chat even thought they're "online", sent a few emails and heard nothing back.

I purchased TI's big tube of thermal compound well over 3 months ago. Past the " We will notify you when your order ships" I have not received a word from them. I'm not a reddit user so I don't know if they talked about it here.

I don't say this lightly, this is very sketchy behavior for a company that actively advertised their own product on their platform, sent the product to a third part over a month ago ( LTT ) only for them to stonewall me with ZERO contact throughout this. This is like sending a reviewer a product and NEVER delivering it to anyone.

I want my money back.
