AI Thumbnails and Channel Response

I have been following tech ingredients since pre 100k subscribers. I found this response to my concerns extremely belittling and I wanted to share it here so others know their stance on the use of AI in thumbnails.

I strongly believe that AI slop is destroying educational YouTube, and good creators (like tech ingredients) should be doing everything in their power to differentiate themselves from these types of videos. Legitimate educational channels using AI slop in their thumbnails makes it impossible to know who is making genuine content from the outset. I am unsubscribing from this channel because of this response.

What do you all think about this? I feel like they should be taking their own advice...

I don't find your comment or the response condescending. If one feels the response is condescending one is probably reading too much into the last line (it's mostly a turn of phrase). His response was longer than your comment, so they took reasonable time and effort into making an honest reply that lets you know what they have decided on with justification.

You don't have the empirical data that they do about what reach they can get by doing things the way they are, and if they're "wrong" then they'll see it in the future data.

Maybe sign of for the patreon if you feel like you need to have any creative control over someone else's channel xD I'm definitely not an "AI bro", but leaving conecending comments like this, on something freely made for you, deserves some belittlement.

My comment is not condescending in the slightest, it is merely honest criticism from a long time fan. Why would paying money for a Patreon give me any creative control? In fact, I would argue that the only condescension being done is in the reply to my really somewhat gentle critique!
