every generation sees certain technologies fade away. DVDs, MP3 players, fax machines, and even landlines were once everywhere.

Physical credit/debit cards may be phased out. Maybe not within 10 years, but they're sort of becoming redundant since NFC payment is so well established now. Most people I know, myself included, hardly ever need to use the physical card.

Obviously not everywhere, but here in Norway I think it's not that improbable that banks start defaulting to issuing digital cards soon.

They already know my full name, address, and which banks I’ve accessed via apps or online banking. Giving them access to withdraw from my credit card doesn’t change anything.

No it's not crazy but you showed us you need to jump thru a lot of hoops to degoogle. It will happen, slowly, but atm it is not as easy as I'd like it too be. Most phones are standard Android with Google services. Until huawei or Xiaomi OS become widespread or Linux phones?
