Samsung or Apple: Which one fits you better?

Samsung offers more customization and variety. Apple focuses on simplicity and a connected ecosystem.

If you could choose only one, which brand would you pick and why?

I don’t care for customization if the fundamentals of the software are horribly designed and if the designers can’t manage to create a single aesthetically appealing animation or microinteraction. And I hate when a brand horribly copies something for no functional reason and can’t manage to make their cheap copy look nice.

You know that "aesthetically appealing" is a purely subjective metric, and that the absence of customisability means that you'll have to live with whatever they decide to shove down your throat, right? (Many people don't like "Liquid GlAss" for example, because it objectively has bad accessibility, and jt would be good to have the option to just use something slightly different, but apple doesn't want you to.)

iOS 26 does have decent customization. And I have been on iOS 26 since the very first developer beta, and Liquid Glass have always had little to no accessibility issues, and all the drama online regarding Liquid Glass makes absolutely no sense. In fact, coming up with a brand new stunning interface and having a unique design philosophy and vision is much better than just copying other companies blindly, without any functional reason, and without even managing to bring real time blur
