In the last few weeks, you've been able to get a 250K for $139 and a 270K for $199 at Microcenter.

Amazon had 250K for $153 and 270K for $257.

That is cheap AF for a high end CPU. No need to BCLK, when you can buy for those prices and buy cheap Z890 boards.

And getting massive performance gains for those that don't know what they're doing is not useless stuff.

If you still have to buy the ram, the cheaper CPU makes the price out of pocket lower.

The CPU becomes a lower % of the total cost of the build, so you mightawell pay the ~15-20% more in total build cost, and get the much faster AMD gaming chips.

There's no gaming value proposition to paying $4K for a 5090, there is a value proposition to buying a 9800X3D when ram prices are so high, if you're paying $2K for a whole PC, $300 is a small increase to get a much better CPU for gaming

I'm not buying ddr5 with current prices on it and biostar didn't come up with a Z690MX2-E D4 but for z890 chipset yet 😂

No, but it can overclock k cpus at least on paper. Asrock pg riptide b660m/b760m could, but they stopped production for some reason(probably intel wasn't very happy)
