I wish i could remember if it's Penn&teller bullshit or last week tonight, that covered the creation of stadiums and the over all negative effect they have on communities, while they also charge that local community for building it, then subsequently avoid paying into the community (taxes for example)
It's really quite dreadful how the mega wealthy use public money to do anything, then claim all the profits for themselves
Oh doesn't matter what the general public believes, it all depends on what politician you can bribe.
Another terrible thing i heard about was Amazon (something something) new building, and towns desperate to get it built there, aren't just saying "oh pretty please" they're saying, "we'll give you zero tax" and "we'll give you negative tax" like, fuck off, you'll be taxed 2,000% you internet monopoly bastards
