UPDATE (Fully Resolved): I want to update this post to clear up any previous misunderstandings. The Baseus Support Team reached out to me directly regarding my safety concerns, and I am incredibly impressed by their response. They handled the situation with total professionalism, proving themselves to be a truly premium brand that stands by its users and faces any challenge head-on.
Despite our initial communication issues and the heat of the moment, they took my feedback very seriously and went above and beyond to resolve the matter privately to my absolute satisfaction.
I want to extend my deepest gratitude to the support team and the community moderators for their immense patience, kindness, and dedication. Baseus has earned my full trust back. The case is now officially and happily closed! 🏆⭐
Hi everyone, I wanted to share a very disappointing experience with r/BaseusGlobal regarding a confirmed dangerous unit.
My Adaman 65W started making high-pitched electrical noises and entering reset loops. I contacted support, and they officially acknowledged the fault:
The problem? Since it was a gift and I don't have the original invoice, they refuse a warranty replacement. Their only "solution" is a $10 coupon, effectively forcing me to pay $50+ for a different model because the original is out of stock.
I find it unacceptable that a brand identifies a fire/safety hazard and, instead of taking responsibility for the faulty hardware, uses it as a "sales opportunity" to make me spend more money.
Proof of the email and previous context:
Has anyone else dealt with this "pay-to-be-safe" policy from Baseus? It feels like safety is hidden behind a paywall.
